The campsite has a bathing lake, which unfortunately could not be used due to algae growth.
The arrival was great: the campsites do not always have reception staff in the low season.
For this reason, this site had a welcome envelope in... a box. It contained a map of where there were free pitches, a card for the barrier and a note that registration could be done later.

But it certainly has the makings of a good and well-appointed campsite. It does need a major overhaul to bring it up to the usual DCU standard. But apart from that, it's a lovely site with many... opportunities for activities, such as swimming from both the beach and in an artificial lake.
