Ideal location by the harbor.
Friendly reception.
Not quite cheap.
There are pitches with a view of the sea or elevated with a view of the mountains.
TV reception possible from the elevated pitches.
Wifi only in the service building area.
Airfield within sight. An airplane comes over the site twice a day

Beautiful, quiet campsite "at the end of the world"

Infrastructure only in the main building, not enough when fully occupied.
Adventure camp in the far north
Adventure Camp in Mehamn is actually a beautiful log cabin with rental accommodation and facilities. Very friendly, multilingual staff who are also on hand to give good tips. The "campsite" is about 300 m away directly on the water, the pitches on grass, unparceled, with some electrical connections,... but a fantastic, quiet location. The guests of the campsite can use the infrastructure in the main building, sanit. Facilities, shower, sauna, during our stay everything was very clean and sufficient; however, we were only 4 units on the campsite. With full occupancy, these facilities are unlikely to be sufficient. However, it is worth visiting Mehamn and waiting at the harbor for the "Hurtigruten" ships, which land daily. Also worthwhile is a trip to Gamvik, about 20 km, to the lighthouse and the fantastic panoramic view, and with a bit of luck the view over the sea with the midnight sun. The road from the junction in Ifjord to Mehamn is well developed and easy to drive even with larger camper vans. The road from Mehamn to Gamvik is new and fully developed.

Not much space for motorhomes.
Camp Mehamn
The campsite is in the cold north, but thanks for it. It's adjacent to a restaurant and a small hotel, and also right on the harbor. But it's fully equipped with everything you need for a motorhome trip. Unfortunately there are few parking spaces with electricity. The bathrooms are clean, equipped, warm, and offer outdoor bathing barrels. Very friendly attitude of the staff. Price for campervan, electricity and two people 280 NOK.

Very nice location, but capacity of the sanitary facilities very tight. Stayed here for 3 days, no cleaning during this time! Strictly speaking, it is a cabin rental with a camper van site and not a campsite.

Great location on the Arctic Ocean, we were unlucky, it was raining cats and dogs. Sanitary ok but if there are more people than us, then probably very cramped. It was pleasant for us, only 2 motorhomes apart from us.

Very nice location with very nice staff. Highly recommended, as there are many accommodation options. Depending on the weather and season.
