Axel S.September 2026Long WeekendOverall, we really enjoyed our stay, and the campground does a lot of things right.
We were particularly impressed by the online check-in with site assignment—it was straightforward, well-organized, and made our arrival very pleasant. Ordering bread rolls online is also a great and convenient solution....
The washhouse in the main building is really beautiful and of a very high standard. The other restroom facilities were also clean and well-maintained.
We had a “Comfort” site, and the connections for electricity, fresh water, and wastewater were flawless and easily accessible.
There is one minor drawback regarding the upkeep of the grounds. Many areas are very beautiful and, in some cases, exceptionally well-maintained, while other spots seem somewhat neglected in direct comparison. Unfortunately, this results in an overall impression that isn’t entirely consistent.
Nevertheless, the positives clearly outweighed the negatives for us. The girls at the front desk were also very nice, but unfortunately the staff at the little shop weren’t.
It was also very frustrating that the campground operator didn’t ensure compliance with the swimming rules. It was... very warm during our stay, so there were a lot of people in the pool. A restaurant with a terrace offering a view (early reservations recommended) and the brasserie by the pool provide additional dining options. The pool is lovely, the view truly “looks out over the countryside,” and the sunsets are spectacular. Dog owners aren’t... alone here—a short loop around the upper part of the campground is perfect. Dog owners: Please just pick up after your dogs—it can’t be that hard!! There are dog waste bags available!! (I’m a dog owner myself)
The restrooms are very clean. As for the showers in the LuginsLand building, it’s absolutely necessary to clean the corners more thoroughly, replace the shower fixtures, remove the soap dispensers (which are empty anyway), and replace the glass corner shelves with something more suitable. These showers aren’t up to 5-star standards. I mentioned this at the front desk. We’ll see.

The area around the pool could be larger and have more lounge chairs or regular chairs—and, above all, more umbrellas.
We found the behavior of some children very disruptive; they constantly... occupied the showers, ran around in them, and slammed the doors open and shut. They also sprayed water out of the shower stalls as if water were worthless. I reprimanded the children, since some parents didn’t feel it was necessary to do so themselves. We have children of our own, and children don’t bother us in the least. Unfortunately, however, there are parents who can’t control their children and clearly don’t want to change that. Mutual respect would be appropriate, along with supervision at the pool and consequences for ill-mannered children.
We also really enjoyed the wine tour with Mr. Büchin. We highly recommend it.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

What I noticed this time was that I booked from June 20 to July 6 and made full use of the time, but the season pass was only valid from June 20 to June 21. We weren’t checked, so we didn’t suffer any consequences, and I assume this was simply a mistake.
