The campsite is well equipped and clean. We made the most of the swimming pool, the water was good. The evening meal at the snack bar was also good. The evening we were there, there was a quiz and karaoke. The atmosphere was friendly.

Good telephone and on-site reception. Great location.

Warm welcome and helpful hostess, no need to go to the tourist office. We appreciated the shady pitch close to the sanitary facilities, as well as the small kitchen with picnic table.

Picnic table at kitchen level needs to be changed or screwed down as it's a bit wobbly...

Decoration of catering area. No catering without a reservation . We wanted to eat something two evenings in a row, but to no avail: on Saturday July 12 at 8.45pm, we wanted to order a pizza, but the waitress clearly told us it would take too long, and on July 13 at 8.30pm, no food was available without a reservation. What a surprise for a long weekend and a stage village in the Loire à Vélo, where people arrive at the end of the day!

Close to the center of saumur

Not enough garbage collection points. Too few water taps.

The campsite is in a superb setting, on an island in the Loire, with a view of the Château de Saumur, and is only a short drive from the eponymous town. The reception staff are also extremely friendly.

Cold tap water comes out lukewarm.

Ligging op eiland in de Loirr is bijzonder, leuke omgeving. Je loopt zo de stad Saumur in. Jammer van het enorm vervallen oude zwembad.

Really nice campsite. Easy cycle distance to Saumur, some on bike track by the Loire, otherwise bike lanes into town. Very nice reception staff. Well stocked basics to buy at reception. Bakery up the road also. We were lucky enough to eat in the campsite one evening for a serve yourself Paella Soirée. Showers and toilets well maintained. Will definitely go back to this campsite. Very relaxed.
