From the pool you have a fantastic view of the Chauteau. The site is very well equipped and you can also cycle to the town center in just a few minutes. The pitches have plenty of shade and are partly separated by hedges, which is very pleasant in summer and also ensures that it doesn't... feel like a typical "campsite town" with one motorhome next to the next.
You can cycle or hike along the Loire, visit Loire castles and, of course, Saumur is the center of Cremant de Loire, which can certainly be compared with one or two champagnes. In the high season, however, advance booking is strongly recommended for a visit to a Cremant cellar.
At least one sanitary building has no water drains in the floor in front of the shower cubicles. Therefore, you are not allowed to enter with street shoes and the floor is constantly wet.

Well stocked basics to buy at reception. Bakery up the road also. We were lucky enough to eat in the campsite one evening for a serve yourself Paella Soirée. Showers and toilets well maintained. Will definitely go back to this campsite. Very relaxed.Really nice campsite beaide the Loire.Nice pitch. Plenty of space.
