"Quiet, well-maintained place to... - Normal, reasonable prices. Lidl, Aldi and Pingo Doce nearby. Impressive castle nearby to visit.

"Good price - Good price in relation to the quality of the space, very quiet, as it is on top of a hill there is a magnificent view of the Bay of Sesimbra, access may not be very practical for those who don't have a car, but nothing that a 20-minute walk can't solve, a small detail (which is only about location) that is easily erased when we arrive at the park and we have peace and tranquility.

"Large municipal square. - The site is laid out in terraces. There are plenty of planted pitches for tents. (Luggage can be transported with the handcarts provided. Womos and trailers are parked up in the sun. But with wind and a wide view. The altitude is probably 80 m. With a view of Sesimbra.

Below the campsite, you'll find the harbor and a shipyard with many restaurants, diving schools, and shopping opportunities. The reception staff speaks good English, and visitors can get a visitor pass by showing their ID. The entrance is gated and …guarded. Parque Municipal de Campismo Forte do Cavalo offers hundreds of numbered pitches, some of which are in the shade. Many of the motorhome pitches offer a wonderful view of the sea. In the Atlantic Ocean region, you can spot dolphins. The pitches are equipped with electricity and water. Two service points have been set up for emptying chemical toilets. The sanitary facilities are simple, with showers and toilets. You can wash clothes by hand at designated washbasins. In front of the sanitary facilities, there is a drying area. The tent areas are about half-shaded and located on platforms with stone-bordered paths, on sandy to rocky ground. At the front part of the large campsite, there is a restaurant with a terrace. Many long-term campers have settled on the site. Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash. Wi-Fi is available in the reception area and in the restaurant.
