Positiva
Very spacious pitches, not far from the North Sea (approx. 10km) or Grevelinger Meer (approx. 3km) = easy to reach by bike.
Negativa
Outdated sanitary building, expensive coin-operated shower system, you need a car for water sports with lots of equipment.
Space, space and more space
The reception was very friendly. Outdated unheated sanitary building, with spiders on the walls (but they didn't bother us), €0.50 shower coins for about 5 minutes showering. The pitches are very large and well protected from the wind by the plants all around, but there are apparently only 4 sockets... on the field we were on, which are only protected with 6 amps, as well as a fresh water connection. Both were located directly behind our caravan. With full occupancy, this could be a bit tight and due to the size of the pitch, some cables were too short. In Brouwershaven (approx. 2km) there is a bakery, a grocery store (Spar) and other small stores for your daily needs. In Zierikzee (approx. 10km), you can stroll through numerous small stores in the beautiful town center or stock up at Lidl or Aldi.
