"overcrowded, noisy, dripping ice-cold showers - The good reviews led us here - a big mistake! Packed, far too many people, correspondingly noisy, not enough sanitary facilities. There was virtually no water pressure and ice-cold water dripped from the shower. There can be no question of "familiar" and "quiet"! Never again!

"PEACE and COMFORT with a friendly host family - We were a young couple with a dog and a small caravan looking for peace and quiet. We had only come to this site as an "emergency solution" for one night (fleeing from an overcrowded campsite nearby), the operator gave us a very friendly welcome at 11pm that night, and we liked it so much that we stayed for several days!!!! The operator lent us a power cable as a matter of course when we realized that ours was not long enough - just great! If you're looking for peace and quiet and don't want any frills, this is the place for you! Nestled in the beautiful countryside, where you can go on great walks (not only) with your dog. The pitches for campers with tents are beautiful and individual, some on separate meadow plateaus under trees. The sanitary facilities are quite basic, but clean. There is (as far as we could tell) only one sanitary building for the whole site - sufficient in the low season as it is a relatively small site, but in the high season it can get a bit cramped ;-) Overall, a little insider tip for those who still want to camp properly and are tired of being overwhelmed by entertainment and leisure activities and who want to spend their vacation near the beautiful Soca without having to be on a crowded campsite. Although, as I said, there is no entertainment or other major offers for children here, this campsite is still suitable for families with children as, in addition to a small playground, there is plenty of space for ball games or free play for children. My conclusion: Cozy and quiet - simple, but really great - and friendly, always eager operator family!

"Small but beautiful - Small family campsite, the right place for those looking for peace and quiet. There are plenty of pitches for tents. Also very suitable for caravans and caravans.

"Relaxation near the Soca - Unconventional campsite outside the town of Kobarid. Everything is easily accessible by bike. The nearest supermarkets are around 1 km or 2.5 km away. In Kobarid there is a small pub with top craft beer; I'll go out on a limb and say: insider tip ;-) >>Street: Gregorciceva ulica, name...? small pub about 250 m from the center. The Soca can be reached by bike/car.

"Good starting point for activities in the Soca Valley - The campsite is very quiet. There are beautiful, wooded terraces for tents. Motorhomes are parked on the meadow without much shade. It is nice to reach Kobarid on foot in 20 minutes via its own nice hiking trail (shopping facilities, restaurants etc.). If the place is full (as now in the ITB there are too few showers. The water does not have enough pressure and towards early evening the hot water is used up (also for washing up)! Despite everything a very good campsite!

Profil

We are a family camp located near a small village called Svino, 0,5 km away from Kobarid. Our camp lies under the hill Srčni breg in a peaceful environment surrounded by forest. There are camping places in the shade and …in the sun. All camping places have electricity, there are also waste disposals for campers. The children can have fun on our children's or sports playground (football, volleyball, badminton). You can also spend the night in our hostel in a private room or in the common dormitary, and in our holiday house. There is a beautiful view on surrounding mountains such as Krn, Matajur and Stol from the camp. It is also a nice starting point for hikers and cyclists. Several paths lead from the camp: a cycling path to the river Nadiža, a walking path to Kobarid and the Soča river (15 min) - with bird watching stops along the way, a path to the village Svino, which has an old church of St. Andrews' and a waterfall, a hiking path to Matajur... There is also Chamois' learning path nearby which leads to old mills at the river Idrija. You can treat yourself in our bar, where you can get drinks, snacks and ice cream We also offer breakfast, local dishes and barbecue food during the high season.
