Positiva
Within walking distance (20 min) of Lucca's Old Town. Flat, gravel-covered campsites. Separated by hedges. Plenty of hot water, strong water pressure.
Negativa
The facility was poorly maintained. The restrooms were not clean; they weren’t cleaned even once in four days. The showers have plastic curtains instead of doors, no shelves inside the showers, and only one hook for two showers. No toilet paper. No convenience store.
Suitable only for short stays
It's a good choice for a short stay to see the sights in Lucca, but that's about it.

The advantages are its proximity to Lucca and the Serchio River.
Negativa
Overall, very basic, and the description isn't accurate. The plots are small. The bathroom is very basic. No toilet paper, no shelf in the shower, and no shower door. Cleanliness could be improved. According to the cleaning schedule, floors are supposed to be mopped six times a day, but on the day we were there, it wasn’t done at all. The pool costs an extra 8 euros per person per day. There’s a bread delivery service and a snack bar in Lucca, but not at the campground. We won’t be coming back. Tip: There’s another campground nearby, and about 200 m away, the river is great for swimming.

According to the cleaning schedule, the floors are supposed to be mopped 6 times a day, but on the day we were there, it wasn’t done at all. The pool costs an extra... 8 euros per person per day. There’s a bread roll service and a snack bar in Lucca, but not at the campground. We won’t be coming back. Tip: There’s another campground nearby—maybe it’s better—and about 200 meters away, you can go for a great swim in the river—for free.

Very friendly helpful campground operator organized an appointment for us in a workshop because our motorhome had a problem with the handbrake. The place is clean and tidy all pitches have water closure sanitary facilities simple but clean

Wonderful
Beautifully laid out campsite pitches are separated by hedges the ground is gravel, water and electricity connection directly on site. The operator is very friendly and courteous we would come back anytime clear recommendation.
