"A campsite with soul - We were actually just passing through and only wanted to stay one night, but ended up staying three. Just the right place to relax! There is no entertainment or anything like that. If you want action, cycle 4 minutes to Neuegg in Arneitz. The sanitary facilities are clean, functional and available in sufficient numbers, as are the dryer and washing machine. The WLAN is stable and free of charge. The operator selects a nice pitch together with you. He drives around the site several times a day to check on things and is always approachable and finds uncomplicated solutions. The site is structured by trees and hedges, creating lots of pleasant niches. The heat is not on the pitch here! There is plenty of space for children and dogs to run around. Our dog liked it very much. There is a very relaxed atmosphere with dogs. There is a beautiful forest right next to the site, including a fitness trail. You can start walking straight away. A bus also runs 3 times an hour. The selection of bread rolls in the morning is limited to 3 types, but they only cost 45 cents. You can also get coffee and everything else you need in the café. You should arrive with a full fridge and bikes in your luggage, then it's perfect here. The Faaker See is a 15 to 20-minute walk along a beautiful forest path, or just 4 minutes by bike. If you stay longer than one night, you can use the beautiful beach at Camping Anderwald. Absolutely recommendable! We will be back.

"Campsite on the edge of the forest - in contrast to the pitches directly on the lake where you lie like sardines caravan to caravan, tent to tent and can or must look the others into their plates.

"After 8 hours happy about this place - but - - The site is surrounded by greenery - extremely quiet - plot size really huge. Drinking water at the pitch via general well. Path to the well partly 150m - electricity available. Do not forget the electricity key at the registration, otherwise you will have to walk again :-) In my opinion for the little that is there - extremely overpriced - one night 2 adults 1 small child 41,50€ !!!! A bottle of beer 3€ !!! A muffin 1,60€. - Many wasps - walk to the lake with child 20 minutes. Fittnes Parkur is not recommended. The lake is great and you can also find a place in the shade.

"Pleasant, spacious and quiet campsite - Spacious, without parceling, quiet, 15 min walk to the lake, nice management, clean sanitary facilities, recommended if you are looking for relaxation and do not value mass tourism.

"great CP, perfect for relaxing and a 15 minute walk to the party on the beach - Beautiful CP by the forest with trees, very suitable for dog owners. Operator is friendly and limited in communication to the essentials.

Profil

Familien-Camping Ferien am Walde is a camping paradise, amid green meadows in a sunny and quiet area at the edge of the forest. Nevertheless, it is only a short footpath (about 12 minutes) away from the lake "Faaker See". We …offer spacious camping places (120m²), partly separated through hedges and trees. The camping places have their own power point. We are fond of families and have a kiosk with fresh bread and rolls (daily), playing fields, a large playground, table tennis, climbing towers as well as the beach at the lake (free of charge)! Own camping-area for young people. Please reserve your camping places for July and August. Tip: it is the last campsite before the tunnel "Karawankentunnel". It is the ideal place for overnight stays and short stays. Fresh bread and rolls at the kiosk (daily); beach at the lake free of charge! (800m); own camping-area for young people; Nearby there is everything you need: tennis-courts, mini-golf and a golf course, summer-toboggan-run, climbing-garden; or go fishing, riding, sailing and surfing; it is only 800m to the lake!
