When you book a campsite seven hours before arriving, I expect to get the spot I booked. I was just told to find a spot among the tents and RVs. No electricity. The owner was completely uninterested. So there we were, after driving for over five hours, with nothing. We just had to move on. I can’t recommend this place if you’re wondering what you’ll find when you get there.

Poor service—stay away. If you order in advance and think you have a seat, think again. The owner shows absolutely no customer service. It's also expensive for what you get.

Toilet building, impersonality and price

Three times in 12 years we have visited Dalsoren. The campground has not undergone any renewal. Toilet buildings stink of mold. I will not go into details here, because then it will be a long story. The kitchen is broken. There are signs everywhere what is not allowed. The only change we have seen is... the large desk at the entrance. Where we were received impersonally. This impersonality has gotten worse. The price is also different. It is the most expensive campsite we have had this vacation. 320NOK and to that is added 15NOK pp for the shower.

3 times and not satisfied? Why come back after the first time if it was that bad. Next time you must try another place. Most of our guest are happy. And we are not a budget camping, then you must find another place.

Quaint place
A beautifully situated campsite with access to the fjord. It was clean and very well-maintained. We stayed there for 1 day but I wished we hadn't stayed longer. There was a little kitchen with a stove, it was a bit old but enough to make dinner. The surroundings was charming especially in the morning.

Super location great view over the fjord
Clean and super located campsite friendly staff, sanitary facilities were cleaned daily reception manned at certain times, boat rental not always possible

Friendly owner who speaks good English, well-kept grounds, clean cabins, barbecue hut allows grilling even when it's wet, own jetty, bakery and supermarket within walking distance
