"our wonderful vacation - We stayed at the campsite from 11.05.26 - 18.05.26. Before our arrival we informed ourselves intensively about the campsite - and our expectations were more than exceeded! A beautiful, lovingly maintained campsite! Bread roll service - top Ambience - top Friendly operators - top Sanitary facilities - top Washing up and WM room - top There are hardly enough words to describe all the nice things about this camping oasis. The adjoining restaurant is highly recommended as the food is outstandingly good and above all extremely plentiful !!!! The area around the site, Lake Seeburg and Seeburg itself is incredibly worth seeing for all hikers, nature lovers and cyclists! We can only warmly recommend this site to all campers who appreciate peace, relaxation, closeness to nature and nice people !!! LG and many thanks Marleen and Tobias Polterman

"Short vacation - Clean, modern sanitary facilities, nice, manageable site, very nice, courteous operators, always a smile on their faces, cozy little restaurant. Could be even more popular. What more does a camper's heart need!!!!! Our heartfelt thanks for this! We will definitely be back.

"Beautiful, well-kept, not too big campsite with a cozy atmosphere - We were looking for a place to stay overnight on our return journey from the Baltic Sea to the Rhine-Main area and came across this campsite. Making contact via the homepage worked perfectly. Our wish to get a pitch where we could park with a trailer was also fulfilled. The reception was very friendly and the sanitary facilities are good. The pitch is lovingly and individually laid out. Not very large, so rather quiet. Everything made a very well-kept impression. The pitches are generously sized. Power points and water points are easily accessible. Waste water and chemical toilets are disposed of at the sanitary building. By the way, the bread rolls were excellent 🙂. We have made firm plans to book there again for a longer stay. P.S.: it wasn't really possible to give a proper assessment of the leisure facilities in the short time available.

"Quiet, beautifully situated but also a caution... - This is basically a beautifully situated, quiet and friendly campsite. The proximity to the lake with its large sunbathing lawn is great, and the pedal boat rental and mini golf facilities there are also very good. However, access to the lake is a little awkward: to be allowed to use it as a camper, you have to pick up wristbands at the campsite reception. Bread roll service, small snacks and drinks are offered by the very friendly family who run the campsite. However, we were disappointed to find that the sanitary facilities are nicely designed, new and adequately sized, but they need to be cleaned more often and, above all, more thoroughly so that they don't become a thing of the past in the near future. This point of criticism also goes to the fellow campers, as they (as is unfortunately the case on many campsites) often don't take the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities very seriously. Always a pity. I hope that the friendly operator can counteract this. Nevertheless: a place worth recommending! We would love to come back.

"Arrive and feel good - Uncomplicated reception. We were able to choose a nice spot. The operators are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were really great, everything was modern, high quality and clean. The internet worked perfectly. Fresh baked goods could be picked up every morning if ordered in advance. The location to the lake is very nice. There is a fantastic playground next door for families. The area also offers plenty of variety, hiking and beautiful towns. Unfortunately the weather didn't play along during our stay. We would visit the campsite again at any time and can highly recommend it.

Profil

The well-maintained family campsite, with approximately 100 pitches, is located near the lake where you can swim, rent a rowing boat or pedal boat, and go fishing. Close to the campsite, you can find tennis courts, a mini-golf course, and …a large public playground with a pirate ship. There is also much to do in the area around the campsite for young and old. Due to its favorable location amidst beautiful nature reserves, it is an ideal base for hours of walking and cycling pleasure. The Göttingen Forest is very popular among climbers. Those who love culture and beautiful German half-timbered towns can enjoy Duderstadt. The town, with its half-timbered houses, is just 10 km away. The medical university city of Göttingen, with its beautiful churches, is definitely worth a visit and is located 20 km from the campsite. In Teistungen, the Border Museum is an interesting sight. This museum tells you all about the former border between East and West Germany. The bear park in Leinefelde-Worbis is fun for young and old alike. The campsite is also conveniently located near the Harz region, with its many castles and fortresses that spark the imagination. There are also toboggan runs and caves to be found for extra entertainment. Finally, there are plenty of activities and sights in the Eichsfeld region as well. At the Seeburger See campsite, is camping comfortable. You can start your day every morning with delicious freshly baked bread and a boiled egg. There is a small shop for forgotten groceries or a nice ice cream. The facilities at the campsite are well-equipped. Not in the mood to cook? Then join us at the newly renovated restaurant 'Gasthaus Storchennest' for a eat and a drink. Finally, a completely new camper field has recently been created. Experience it yourself this camping season with your caravan, camper, tent, or folding trailer. No camping equipment? No worries! There are also safari tents and chalets available for rent at the campsite for a short or long stay. This way, you can still enjoy the pleasure of a camping holiday.
