Unfortunately this is the only campsite in town and they take advantage of it. See my comment on the disadvantages.
Bergama has a small, winding old town.
We climbed up to the castle, then the surprise: the entrance fee for Turks is 200 lira, about 4.00 francs, for tourists 13.00 euros. No thanks, I don't like being ripped off like that.

Walter K.czerwiec 2011Very well-kept lawn with tables, benches, "love arbor", nice, clean pool, food in the restaurant good and inexpensive, sometimes a bit noisy from the nearby road. Quickly with Dolmus (shared cab, stops in front of the square) in the center 3 km away and at the sights. GREAT!
