"Overnight stay - We had chosen this campsite because of its central location for visiting Mycenae, Nafplion, Epidauros and Corinth. In addition, the sanitary facilities were rated well by the ADAC, which in our opinion is not justified. The wash house has definitely seen its best years, but is kept clean as far as possible. The number of showers could be too small for the 100 pitches indicated in the main season. We did not visit the restaurant. The site operator is very friendly. We were asked to pay in cash. We were disappointed that the swimming pool was not yet open despite the high temperatures. It was only filled on the last day of our stay. As the campsite is not by the sea, we looked for bathing bays along our excursion routes. On our tour of the Balkans, we found better quality places at cheaper prices.

"Quiet shady spot near the excavation site - The planned 3 days turned into 11 nights due to a car breakdown. A wonderfully quiet, well-kept site with lots of shade, partly without parcelling, clean and sufficient sanitary facilities with hot water for showers at all times. Kitchen with sink, fridges and even a single burner. Washing machines available. Restaurant with a small daily changing menu of Greek specialties. Good red wine also included at an unbeatable price. Extremely helpful and friendly operators. Fresh bread every morning as well as freshly squeezed juices and sandwiches. Pool is also available.

"Camping Atreus - Beautiful campsite! The welcome is really very pleasant! The pitches are well shaded. The sanitary facilities are a little old-fashioned but still very clean. The swimming pool is very pleasant and the restaurant is top notch! Very simple but delicious! We happily recommend this campsite!

"Beautiful place to visit Mycenae - The site is located at the western entrance to Mycenae. The pitches are level and shady under mature trees. There are several sanitary buildings on the site, which are in an average and tidy condition. Showers and toilets are clean and are cleaned regularly. The site management is extremely friendly. The site also has a pool which is in good condition. As it is even reasonably large, you can even swim your "laps" in it. We didn't try the restaurant. Fellow campers spoke of good home-made food. It is a good 2 km to the historical sites. However, it is quite steep uphill. Therefore not necessarily suitable for cycling. Nevertheless, the location near the excavations is the big plus of this site. At the crossroads in Fichti, where you turn off to Mycenae, there is one of the few supermarkets. The campsite is a member of a camping club (Sunshine Camping Club Greece). On request, you can obtain a map of GR showing the other member sites. This gives you a 20% discount on this and the other campsites!!!!

"Camping Atreus - Serene, quiet, the campsite is nestled in the green of a pine grove. The manager is very helpful, the atmosphere is friendly and family friendly. Comfortable wells, clean facilities, a short walk from the center of Mycenae and 2 KM from the ruins of the acropolis (a must-visit). The little restaurant does not have a varied menu, but the dishes are tasty. Definitely inexpensive.
