The Valun disappointment
Positive: Beautiful location and car-free. But extremely unkempt. Rat infestation. Poor and few sanitary facilities. In August 3 days long (over 24 hours continuously) noise pollution from nearby techno party. Very unfriendly sales staff in the nearby supermarket. On arrival and departure, the tiny access... road (necessary for unloading and loading your own luggage) was repeatedly blocked for hours by local transport. Local police did not react. The campsite management did not respond to any complaints. Apparently incompetent. All this is probably accepted by the guests because of very low fees. You don't feel like a welcome guest. I will not go to Valun a second time to support such treatment of guests. I think the development of the resort is a great pity. In contrast to June, overcrowded in August.
