Vejer de la Frontera is situated at the foot of the N -340 , from Cadiz to Algeciras and the new A- 48 that connects to the Bay of Cadiz and Seville- Cadiz motorway . Also accessed from the road …of Barbate , near the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Oliva. The nearest airports are those of Jerez and Malaga , and if you come by train, Cadiz. It is just a few minutes to some of the best and most pristine beaches Spanish : El Palmar , Los Canos de Meca , Conil, Zahara , Bologna ( great beach with Roman ruins ) and pine forests are National Park . A few kilometers are Algeciras and Tarifa , where you can jump to Africa across the Strait of Gibraltar in just Vejer is better connected than ever and Camping Vejer is located just 3 km away. The recent expressway connects the town with the main cities of Cadiz in minutes and good public transport provision allows those who do not own cars easily reach Vejer . In this section we summarize all transports . over two hours . Buses to Vejer Vejer has good bus links the destinies of their surroundings and large cities such as Seville , Cádiz, Algeciras and Malaga . Also has frequent connections to the surrounding villages to increase in the summer months . There are 10 daily connections and Cadiz Barbate . Barbate is about 10 minutes Cadiz to just under an hour. There are also frequent daily connections to Tarifa, Algeciras , La Linea , Malaga and Seville. These buses are caught in La Barca de Vejer, which is situated on the A48 at the foot of the mountain that houses Vejer. In general we can say that the transport in this medium is fast and effective. We recommend parking at the entrance , in a park near the park signposted Los Remedios. If full drive towards the village and climb the outpatient area where there may be more room. Recommend not venture into the Old Town and the streets are very narrow and very limited parking possibilities . When parking must think that Vejer is a relatively small town and that the distances are short and unless you go to people with disabilities who may suffer the slopes , it is best to leave the car in the new part, the surrounding the historic .. Other ways to reach There Vejer train line . The nearest stations are those of Cadiz , San Fernando or Algeciras ( all within 1 hour drive ) The nearest airports are Jerez and Gibraltar ( 1 hour) .
