The site and the sanitary facilities are tip-top. We would like the campsite operators to find a suitable cook and staff for their restaurant. It must be a dream come true if they can reopen.
We will definitely be back.

The bathing area is sandy (not muddy) and you can still stand in the lake after 50 meters. What really bothered us was that there was no sunbathing area by the dog beach and it is tiny and that on Sundays the permanent campers start mowing the lawn at lunchtime and don't see fit to stop when you tell them nicely.

Due to the challenging weather conditions, it wasn't necessarily the best camping vacation for us. But thanks to the whole team at the Malchow campsite, we always had great support and made the best of everything. They organized... the smallest bicycles for my 5-year-old, the harbour master came in the evening to help us moor the raft and the fresh croissants in the morning helped us get over the rain pattering on the tent roof. We'll be back - but then with more sun ☀️.
