A very nice campground
As always, it was absolutely wonderful to spend our vacation here. We made a last-minute reservation and (yay!) managed to snag the last available spot.
We always love coming back to Südstrand.

A very good spot
The Südstrand Campground is a very clean place where you always have plenty of space between you and your neighbors. Thanks to the bushes and trees, there are many shaded campsites. The restrooms are very clean and plentiful. The hot water in the showers is limited in time, but there’s more than enough... time. The staff at the front desk are very nice, always helpful, and friendly. The store is affordable and well-stocked. The food at the restaurant and the staff are great. It’s a campground right on the water with good bike access to Burg. This place is highly recommended. We were there with our T4 camper van and had easy access to the Bullifestival.

4.5 stars is still not enough
The staff is always in a good mood, and the campground is beautiful and naturally landscaped. We’ve been booking stays at the Südstrand Campground for a few years now. The 4.5-star rating it received doesn’t do it justice. In my opinion, it’s a 5-star campground.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Die Sanitärhäuser waren sauber, die Plätze gepflegt, mit Strom und Abwasser. Die nette Begrüßung in der Anmeldung. Keine Schlüssel für Sanitärhäuser, Schranke, keine lästigen Duschmarken, keine Stromablesung, Bezahlung bei Anreise alles in Allem sehr unkompliziert. Dafür Daumen hoch. Wir kommen wieder.

Gepflegter Platz, guter Service und freundliches Personal. Es wird versucht, Wünsche zu erfüllen. Sanitärbereich top sauber!!

Der Platz ist sauber, ruhig und sehr gut aufgeteilt.
Sanitäranlagen ebenfalls ausgesprochen sauber.
Was Sie allerdings ändern sollten, weil mich es sehr gestört hat und ich es in dieser Form noch nie erlebt habe. Dusche: 150 Sekunden, dann 60 Sekunden Pause, wenn man weiter duschen muss! Ein Unding,... in dieser einen Minute friert man, weil es nicht gerade warm in den Duschmoglichkeiten ist. Vier Minuten wären angebracht.

Toller Urlaub
Es war wieder sehr schön. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und sauber. Für Eltern mit Kindern ein Paradies. Nur einige Meter bis zum Sandstrand, der auch für Hunde sehr schön ist. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann den Platz nur empfehlen. Freue mich schon auf das nächste mal.

Top Campground: Feel Right at Home
It's just like they said when we arrived. Welcome home. And that's exactly how it feels. We've been coming to this campground for so many years now, and we feel right at home!!!

A beautiful, spacious campsite right on the water
The campground was pretty good, though there were a few minor drawbacks—showering was a bit of a hassle because of the water restrictions, and the restaurant's menu wasn't very appealing either.

Great Campground
As always, great. Friendly, clean, helpful. A place where you feel right at home. The location is unbeatable. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough that you can reach everything by bike.

Excellent campground
Great campground with dedicated staff (including the manager)...nice campsites, direct beach access, a well-stocked kiosk, a bread delivery service, a good restaurant, and very clean restrooms. Lots of greenery.

The Hinz Family on the Road with Their RV, Pauly
Our stay (2 days) was definitely too short; we really enjoyed it. We got along great with the long-term campers—here, you don’t feel like a nuisance but rather warmly welcomed.
Everything was in tip-top shape; we have no reason to complain, but we’ll definitely be back—promise!!!!

Just great
It was a wonderful stay; the restrooms were spotless, and the campground was very pleasant. Our power cord was too short, but we were able to get a longer one from the front desk at no extra charge. Thank you so much for that. I’d love to come back.

Great Vacation
This was our fourth time staying in a rental trailer at the Südstrand campground, and we haven't been disappointed yet. The trailers are in very good, clean condition. The staff is super friendly.
We'd love to come back.

Feel Good and Relax
Our campsite was close to the ocean and had a spacious layout with a sewer hookup. We were able to park our car separately. There was a mini-market with fresh bread rolls and everything you need.

Campground right on the water
I don't know if there's anything that can be done about it, but all those pigeons are a bit of a nuisance. Some of the long-term campers really need to be reminded to keep their sites tidy.
We really liked the restaurant and the kiosk, though.
