"One Night - Beautiful surroundings, plenty of space. A friendly gentleman will help you find a spot. So I’m not sure if you can choose one yourself. But we were there for just one night and the place was nice, so I didn’t look into it. The facilities were complete and generally OK... We didn’t try the food—we ate elsewhere during our trip... We’d give it a 4.7.

"Natural site directly on the lake - As in the previous year, we used the campsite to relax and chill out for the last few days of our vacation. After 3 weeks in Slovakia and Romania, we wanted a campsite that was complete by our standards, i.e. for the Huffys: A large pitch with a view of the lake and sunset. Gastronomy with typical local dishes on site. Short distances to walk with the dog and an adjacent village within walking distance. We remembered Lake Lipno for the way back. The nice thing here is that everyone gets their money's worth. Whether cyclists, hikers, anglers, water sports enthusiasts, SUP, families or dog owners. Everyone has plenty of space to pursue their leisure activities in the spacious area. The restaurant serves tasty, local dishes (trout, venison medallions, etc.) at very reasonable prices. The same applies to the beach bar (1/2 l draught beer €2). The site owner and his gardener maintain the site unobtrusively. You are free to choose your pitch. Two ladies are already cleaning the sanitary facilities at 7.00 am. The facilities are functional, but above all super clean. Scenic, If you didn't know any better, you'd think you were in Norway or Sweden. Linz and Passau are easy to reach. The price of €30 (caravan, 2 adults, dog & electricity) is sensational for the services on offer. If you have a Campingcard (DCC, ACSI, ADAC), you only pay €23 for the package. However, if you're looking for a party, you're in the wrong place and will have to switch to events in other towns. Most campers come from the south of Germany. For us, this is the right place to start or end our vacation. One of our TOP 5 places in Europe.

"Angler's paradise - This is my personal opinion. We had a pitch almost directly on the water in the south-western part, on grass, relatively sloping but beautifully situated. The boss chose it with us personally. The site has functional toilets which were always very clean. The small restaurant was also always worth a visit, very tasty food at fair prices! Unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the small restaurant but there is also a beer garden. The service was quick and very friendly. You can communicate relatively well in German everywhere. The CP also made a nice, well-kept impression. Unfortunately, our request to move to a sheltered spot was not granted with the explanation "the spot is heavily used by anglers and they can't cope with the normal bathers with dogs and also if one moves then everyone wants to move, that's not possible!". You can go into the water with your dog on the normal beach, which is quite rare in Germany and Austria! There is also a dog station with dog bags. Speaking of anglers: They seem to have a very special status on the campsite. The manager often referred to them, especially when choosing a pitch and that they should be taken into consideration. We found it absolutely impossible that there were several piles of fish waste on the adjacent managed meadow! The lake was fished around the clock! After a few days we noticed blue-green algae on the beach which the boss confirmed with the words "Tomorrow it will rain and they will be gone"! I don't dare to judge whether they really disappear or are just no longer visible, I'm not an expert enough. As they are highly poisonous for dogs, we didn't let ours near the water!!! Of course the vacation was not planned like this and we left.

"Paradise - Beautifully situated! Old but always clean! Food always good, ATTENTION search danger after the good kitchen, water pipifein and already good for swimming. Operator family all extremely friendly.

"Very nice - A beautiful and quiet campsite ideal for fishing fishing, swimming, stand up paddling or just relaxing. German is spoken and the campsite is visited by many Austrians and Germans. Anyone looking for a vacation by the Bohemian Sea is in good hands here.

"Camping like a dream - A wonderful site on a spur of the Lipno reservoir. A very well-kept site awaited us, with grass on the entire pitch! The pitch is laid out in terraces, so that there is always a fairly flat area available. Special feature: firewood for campfires can be purchased on site! The sunset is included free of charge! If it hadn't been for the blue-green algae, it would have been a 100% perfect vacation. But everything that was in the hands of the site operators contributed to the fact that it was wonderful! A small restaurant with a small menu right on the campsite invites you to leave your own kitchen cold from time to time. For larger purchases, however, you should drive to Krumlov - a very interesting town center, by the way! From the campsite you have good access to a network of cycle paths around the entire lake! One thing that does get on your nerves is the anglers, who almost militantly set up their fishing facilities and turn a walk along the campsite's own long beach into a tripping hazard.

Our sociable family campsite Camping Olsina is beautifully located on the Lipno Reservoir in South Bohemia and stands out above all for its setting: terraced pitches with direct or wide views of the water and atmospheric sunsets included. The campsite …is deliberately close to nature, very well maintained and ideal for everyone who appreciates peace, nature and genuine camping. Our welcome is personal, pitches are often chosen together, and you feel at home from the very first moment. The sanitary facilities are consistently very clean. Camping Olsina is a paradise for those seeking peace and quiet, anglers and water sports enthusiasts: swimming, stand-up paddling, boating or simply relaxing by the shore are all possible directly on site. Dogs are very welcome. The offer is completed by a small restaurant serving good Czech cuisine, a beach bar, bread roll service and a mini kiosk. No animation, no hustle and bustle – just nature, calmness and authentic camping. In short: An authentic, peaceful campsite with lake views, heart and character – ideal for switching off, coming back and feeling good.
