"Very nicely located, but - Easy access, pleasantly large pitches. Friendly reception. Reception only opens at 09:30 in the low season. Outdoor pool well maintained, even with a roof. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are in a very poor condition. This unfortunately tarnishes the overall impression.

"Great vacation spot - A great, clean campsite with lots on offer for children of all ages. Boulplatz, soccer pitch, playground, indoor pool, outdoor pool, barbecue area. Something for everyone. Large plots parceled out with hedges. (Lawn mowing should be done a bit more regularly, sometimes the grass was just too high. But we were in the low season!)Close to the beach. Great cycle path network! The store is only open in the main season July/August. Bread is available to order at reception or about 1km from the campsite. The entrance to the campsite is designed with traffic lights, as the road is quite narrow. This is a really good solution. The swimming pools are brilliant, even the outdoor pool has a temperature of approx. 26 degrees. The only disadvantage is that the Wi-Fi is outrageously expensive at 8 euros per day. Simply no longer in keeping with the times!

"Beautiful place - A beautifully situated site, partly separated plots. Friendly staff. Clean, large sanitary facilities with large shower cubicles. Quiet and not full in low season.

" - About 300 m to the beach, which was really nice. Mediocre campsite with swimming pool, entertainment and snack bar. Playground available. Sanitary facilities are average, rather basic. It is too far to walk to the nearest village with restaurants and grocery stores.

" - We visited the campsite in May/June 2012. The campsite is located in Normandy in Merville Franceville, 3 km from Cabourg on the Côte fleurie. 300m to the beautiful, kilometer-long sandy beach. Friendly welcome, even in German. Free choice of pitches, also with ACSI-Card. Always available for further information. Very helpful with the WLAN setup. Pitches of different sizes, but only partially separated by hedges. Some of the pitches are really large. Firm, dense grass. Water supply and disposal partly further away. One station without a tap all the time. No possibility for permanent water connection and disposal only at the taps. In cool weather, low season, the toilets/showers were satisfactorily to well heated. Sanitary facilities cleaned daily and always clean. Average facilities. Fixed hairdryers for drying hair available in the sanitary corridor. Only hot water pressure taps in the wash cubicles. Temperature and water pressure not adjustable. Sometimes the taps splashed due to excessive water pressure. Showers also only hot water; often too warm for me. Temperature and strength not adjustable. Disposal of chemical toilets only at the motorhome disposal station. Water withdrawal for rinsing the toilet tanks through the pressure taps a little awkward. The swimming pool was open before Whitsun. According to ACSI only 01.06. Water temperature pleasant due to pre-heating. Pool is covered at night. However, in the subsequent cool weather it remained covered, so that swimming was not possible but should actually be open from June 1st. Swimming pool was always clean. Paddling pool for small children not filled. Showers at the pool not working. The actual playground looked well equipped, well maintained and sufficient in size. There was also a bouncy castle. Other: The store was closed in the pre-season May/June. Breadsticks were available at reception in the morning. No restaurant or bar, but according to ACSI "bar" available. There was also no restaurant within reasonable walking distance. Only the so-called "animation room" was usually open. WiFi in the terrace/animation room area is free of charge but registration is a bit complicated, which I have found easier at other campsites. In general, one had the impression that everything was only working towards the main holiday season, July/August, because everything doesn't really look finished, e.g. terrace, animation room, flower beds only partially planted. Store and restaurant completely closed. With ACSI-Card 16,-€/day and additional 6 for 7 a good price/performance ratio. Would love to come back.

Profil

The camping 4 stars Poplars has 163 locations up to 220 m2 and 55 rental accommodations with 1-2 and 3 bedrooms including 3 for disabled guests. All our rental with wooden terrace, electric heaters, dishwasher, microwave, vacuum cleaner, toaster, coffee …machine, free TV included, pillows and blankets. It has 2 sanitary including 1 heated with separate cabins and toilets, baby bathroom, washing machine, dryer. It has a heated pool discovery open from June to September and an indoor water park heated from April to October with spa, jacuzzi, enchanted fountain and a baby slide. At your disposal, a sports ground, ping pong tables, pétanque area fixed, fitness area, collective barbecues, an entertainment room, video games. A children's play area with inflatable play. In July / August, the boutqiue offers breads, deli, ice cream, french fries, rotisserie, snack, bar.Animations in juiillet / août.Le camping is under video surveillance. To visit the landing beaches, Cabourg, Deauville, make footpaths etc ..
