Very good stay at Le Repaire campsite. The facilities are simple but functional and clean. Quiet campsite. There's plenty for children too, with the playground and kids' club.
Negativa
The bread reservation is a very good idea, but the price is a bit high (2€ per baguette).

Spacious, shady pitch just as I'd hoped. Close to sanitary facilities and a water point, perfect with children.

Le Repaire is on a human scale, quiet and well planted with trees. Thiviers can be reached by a pleasant footpath leading from the campsite. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool and, of course, discovering places like Saint-Jean-de-Côle, Brantôme, Nontron and its magnificent knives, Montignac-Lascaux, Beynac-et-Cazenac, the Château des Milandes where Josephine Baker lived, etc....
Peace, nature and discovery
Simple accommodation, but sufficient for 2 adults (but no more!). Fridge and gas hob work very well. Very functional bathroom. We appreciated the air-conditioning to cool the mobile home when we arrived ;-) then turned it off.

Friendly, pleasant campsite. Very clean sanitary facilities. Pool hours very long, perfect.

Pool maintenance to be improved, including installation of a foot bath and reactivation of the shower.
3 days in the Périgord Vert
Site 68 was large and very shady, perfect for withstanding the heat of the 3 days.

Quiet, restful campsite, but perhaps lacking in entertainment and cocktails. The kids loved the pond, fishing and pedalos. On the other hand, the pool was a little cool, even though it's heated.

Hello,
We have read your review and would like to thank you for your comment. Concerning the pool, in summer we regularly renew the cold water to keep it clean. The pool is well equipped with a heat pump to keep the water at 25°C. It's also nice to have a pool that's not too hot during hot spells, so as not to multiply the number of bacteria and to cool off too.

A night in the shelter of the trees by the river. Very pleasant and quiet. Warm welcome. Hiking on the Flow vélo, a nice little spot to stop and visit Nontron a few pedal strokes away (be careful, it climbs! But the descent is appreciated on the way back😀) very clean sanitary facilities. A sorting and composting area behind the toilets.
