"Everything is fine - We stayed at this nice place in April 2018 and felt very comfortable. We were given a very warm and friendly welcome. The pitches in the front area are a bit small, but nicely separated by hedges. New motorhome pitches have been created in the rear area and a small sanitary facility is being planned here. There is already a very nice facility in the entrance area, which is very clean and as good as new. The restaurant was not yet open, so we cannot rate it. However, it is only a few minutes' walk to the pretty village of Montignac, which offers everything from restaurants, cafes and shopping facilities. Lescaux 4 can be reached by bike in a few minutes.

"Familiar place with snacks. Visits to the prehistoric sites. - The campsite is located directly on the river Vêzere, separated only by the road, and is about 600 meters from the town center, so the restaurants are within easy walking distance. The grotto of Lascaux with its famous cave paintings can also be easily reached on foot in about 15 - 20 minutes. In addition, there are countless sights to visit in the Vêzere valley within a radius of 50 km. The pitches in the older part of the site, which are separated by hedges and trees, are relatively small for caravans, awnings and cars. There is still no shade in the newly constructed area by the mill pond and satellite reception is possible everywhere without any problems. The location is very quiet, there is a children's playground and swimming pool for young and old. The sanitary buildings are a bit outdated but clean and well maintained. According to the operators, they are to be renovated in 2018. There is a lounge area with a small restaurant next to the reception. Bread and croissants can be ordered the day before at reception. Reduced prices apply in the early and late season if you have an ACSI card. Conclusion: Highly recommended campsite for exploring Montignac and the prehistoric sites in the surrounding area. A trip to one of the largest aquariums in Europe with an alligator park (Aquarium du Perigord Noir) in Le Bugue about 30 km away is also recommended. The host family is very open-minded, friendly and helpful.

"Visit to the caves in Lascaux and the old town of Montignac - Super! Reception friendly, only Eng or Franz, but also without prior registration! Immediate response to mail! Early season, choose the pitches. Our special requests were fulfilled! (Phone reservation for cab)

"Montignac - The campsite is on a very nice, quiet site right on the edge of the village. The food in the campsite restaurant is very good and reasonably priced; bread service in the morning; the management is very friendly and accommodating. Price per night: EUR 12.15 for one person with tent and bicycle.

Are you looking for a peaceful place near the Lascaux Cave in the heart of Périgord Noir in the Dordogne to escape everyday life? Camping Lascaux Le Moulin du Bleufond welcomes you in a natural and authentic environment for a …relaxing holiday. We look forward to greeting you in a tranquil atmosphere. At our campsite with a swimming pool in the Dordogne, built around a 17th-century mill and bordered by a lovely stream, you will have a pleasant stay. The campsite is ideally located in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and is characterized by its protected environment and the peaceful atmosphere by the river. The site is surrounded by tall deciduous trees, and a quiet road separates the campsite from the river. The campsite is divided into two parts: an older section with sheltered pitches under the trees and a newer section with younger plants and sunny pitches. There are about ninety pitches, all separated by hedges. In a separate area of the campsite, you’ll find thirty well-maintained mobile homes. At the friendly entrance of the campsite, you’ll find a small but beautiful swimming pool. It is beautifully situated on a sunny terrace, surrounded by palm trees and other plants. The outdoor pool is heated, as is the separate children's pool. Around the pools, you'll find sunbeds, and large umbrellas provide the necessary shade. There is also a pleasant massage bench in the pool area. Right at the entrance of the campsite, there is a restaurant with a cozy terrace. Here, you can have breakfast and dinner, and takeaway dishes are also available. In addition to pizzas, fries, and snacks, excellent daily specials are offered. At the reception, there is a small shop where you can purchase local specialties and food. Every morning, you can buy fresh bread, croissants, and chocolate croissants at the campsite.
