"Not really recommended - Dumpsters stuffed full, you feel like you're on a landfill site. The people who stay only 1 night, crash their vehicles around the playground, the access road half parked. Then this place works together with a platform, the prices you get from the platform do not match the prices of this campsite at all. There was only the answer from the reception:" what is Holidu, what is that supposed to be, I don't know. " Nobody observes the site rules there either, everyone rides around on a motorcycle or similar at any time of day. According to the site rules, no e-scooters etc. are allowed, every 2nd person drives around on this site. Then there are 2 washing machines and a dryer... which I personally find too little for the size of the campsite. The supermarket also makes its OWN PANTRY PRICES... also very questionable. We have been to many campsites but we have never experienced anything like this.

"4 days was too long - Very small driveway. Oncoming traffic required one to back up. Very crowded, full and hut on top of each other. Small places. Sanitary facilities although nice and clean, but only one building in the middle so far to walk. Pebble beach at the bottom lake not maintained lots of branches and garbage. For me not worth 3 or 4 stars as advertised.

"Arrived and departed on the same day - We asked for a pitch by email and specified the type of vehicle and caravan with total length. We were assured that something would always be available. When we arrived there in the morning on June 10, 2023, the gentleman at reception said "soo big!" We referred him to the email. Then we were told to call again at 12.00 noon, as there were supposedly 50 spaces available. But we couldn't park on the site because everything, even the parking spaces for visitors and the second spaces for campers were completely full with people camping there. We had to park in a parking lot diagonally across the street, which was charged for. At 12.00 noon we went back to the site. We were given a number. There wouldn't even have been room for our caravan with awning. We would have had to park our van in the paid parking lot. The parking lots for this purpose were all full of campers. He couldn't offer us any other space. If he had told us at 8.00 a.m. that nothing would be available for us, we would have looked around for another campsite. As we hadn't asked at the other campsites, we didn't get a pitch at Lake Constance and there was none in sight. After a long search and hours of phone calls, we drove home frustrated at 5 p.m. that same day.

"good location on the lake, but narrow pitches - It is a down-to-earth, simple campsite with clean but narrow access roads. A supermarket with everything you need and a restaurant with simple meals. The pitches dry quickly even when it rains. WLAN is only available in the reception area. The friendliness of the staff could be improved. The entrance area and the driveway are very narrow, with arriving and departing vehicles the Caos does not remain out. On some pitches, the power connection can be 35 m away, which is no longer VDE-compliant from an electrical point of view with normal connection cables. The advantage is the gravel beach directly on the lake.

"We've never had such a small pitch before - We've never had such a small pitch before, the caravan (6.60 m) didn't fit parallel to the path, so it only went in lengthways. Awning in front and the pitch was full in width. Directly in front of the tent were bushes that separated the plot from the neighbor. The car just fitted in front of the caravan and tent and now the whole area was full. It was no longer possible to see or be seen. The pitch was quite at the end of the site and so the way to the center (store, sanitary facilities), which was at the entrance, was a little further. The area around the center was not very attractive, an old refrigeration unit, a matching drinks vending machine and overflowing garbage containers rounded off the partly shabby appearance. We didn't visit the restaurant, long-time guests advised us not to. The access to Lake Constance is good and also very suitable for swimming. You should only wear bathing shoes. Access to the campsite is an adventure, as there is virtually no passing traffic. It doesn't get any better on the campsite, the paths are very narrow and long caravans or larger motorhomes have their difficulties. As every cyclist does what they want, maximum attention is required. Lake Constance is certainly a beautiful area, but in terms of traffic it is a disaster. The only connection is the B31, which is permanently full and you are constantly stuck in traffic jams. Before Hagnau it is always 3-4 km from both sides.

"Why 4 stars???? - Very small plots, motorhome with awning extended, you are already on the border to the neighboring plot. Electricity and water far away from the pitches. The sanitary building is an imposition, dirty and moldy. The cleaner is on duty all day, but hopelessly overwhelmed, dirt and mold everywhere. Especially bad, the disabled showers, the shower curtain moldy up to 1.5 meters high, after 3 requests it was cleaned, but was still moldy, we actually expected a replacement, the specified shower stool was a plastic garden chair, at the level of the trash cans and the dirt you could see very well that was not cleaned daily, just disgusting. The road to the campsite is a disaster, as there are always campers waiting for a free pitch, there is always a collapse, because oncoming traffic is not possible. Overall, the place was completely overcrowded and that in pandemic times, hygiene and distance rules cannot be observed. Old trees, which provide shade, but also make satellite reception impossible, but there are very nice permanent campers where you can connect to the satellite system. If the site operators would focus more on quality instead of quantity, the Iriswiese would be worth a recommendation, as we found it, we can only advise against it, we would like to come back to Lake Constance, but no longer to this campsite
