We'd love to come back anytime
We stayed at the Fleiola Campground at the end of the season, and it was already our fourth visit.
We booked a mobile home and, as always, were satisfied with the cleanliness and amenities.
We especially like the bread stand and the pizza truck.
Unfortunately, a farmer with his Ape van doesn’t come by very often to sell his fresh, flavorful fruits and vegetables.
We’ll be back next year!

The campground is beautifully situated on the lake, is very well organized and laid out; the sites are nicely landscaped and spacious enough.
It’s just a short walk to the lake, swimming is a lot of fun, and the “beach” is very clean.
The produce truck that comes by every now and then is perfect and... really adds to the Italian atmosphere.
The recycling program is right on trend.
By the end of September, you can really feel that the season is winding down; many restaurants have already closed, so we really miss having a bistro and a bar right at the campground.

We’ll definitely be back.

The proximity to the lake. The peace and quiet. The excellent and beautiful campsites, clean restrooms, and good, affordable prices for bread rolls and drinks. And, of course, the very nice and friendly people who make your stay so pleasant.

The driveway is very narrow. I didn't read about that beforehand, or rather, I didn't have any information about it.
Rating
All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location and access to the lake are excellent. The restroom facilities are very clean and well-equipped. The entire site is free of trash. The utility connections (electricity, water, gray water, chemical toilet) are very well placed. The bread delivery service is very affordable for the prices.

Thank you very much for letting us enjoy our vacation at your campground. We really liked it there—the bungalow was nice, and we were able to bring our small dog. The dog enjoyed it there too, because there are two places where dogs are allowed to swim.

The campground offers direct, private access to the lake, which was a big plus for us with kids. A small, intimate campground run as a family business. A view of the lake while doing the dishes. Neat and clean restrooms.

The bar building was very old and is in a state of disrepair.

Always worth another visit. Great location with wonderful access to the lake. Clean place with friendly staff.

In my opinion, there are two issues:
- If you arrive after hours with a RV near the gate—which is obviously closed—it becomes difficult to back up and pass through the underpass (which is very narrow); Appropriate signage should indicate that drivers must stop before the underpass and, if necessary,... park temporarily in the lot on the right before it;
- The chemical toilet is located inside the communal restroom facilities; for one thing, it’s difficult to “maneuver” in the designated space (the designer likely doesn’t know what’s actually needed or the space and equipment required for such a situation); furthermore, for hygiene and out of “respect” for the facility’s users, it would be ideal to move the facility outside the restroom building (at this point, with adequate space and amenities).
Finally: - The crumbling plaster on the wall of the café building isn’t a pretty “sight.”
- Fixing the labeling of the photovoltaic system would be great.

- The infrastructure—very good by central Italian standards - The location right on the lake is simply fantastic - The long table and the invitation to dinner

- The narrow access road was almost too narrow for our (not exactly huge) vehicle and trailer combination - The prices for dogs are way too high
The location is great!!!
We spent a week here in August 2026 and were truly thrilled. I have to say that we had a front-row view, and that made a big difference.
The location is simply excellent. We were just 10 meters from the gorgeous lake.

Unfortunately, the very high fee for dogs is a downside. We had two small dogs (<... 2 kg) with us and had to pay €144.00 for one week. That’s really pushing it.
Still, we have very fond memories of the place and will definitely be back!

The lovely little cottage, and the fact that it's so close to the lake. Everything is very nice and well-maintained—the lovely Tomasi family. A magnificent lake.

The campers by the lake aren’t too thrilled when you lie down on the beach. I think it’s a shame that dogs are allowed in the cottages. Next to us were two large dogs that kept us awake until midnight because they were constantly running back and forth inside the cottage. On top of that, the residents had the air conditioner running for the dogs day and night, along with a fan on the patio. It’s not a pleasant thought to be the next guest.

But other than that, everything was wonderful, and we'd love to come back.
We've already booked for next year.

The chalet's location, the furnishings, and everything you need are all there. Comfortable beds and a nice shower.

A beautiful and peaceful campground—highly recommended. We definitely enjoyed our stay here: wonderful swimming in the lake and beautiful surroundings for biking. Whether on an e-bike or a road bike, the area is perfect for climbing. The pizzeria at the campground makes delicious pizzas. There were just the two of us, and we had a wonderful vacation.

A lovely little campground in a great location right on the lake
The campground’s location right on the lake is very beautiful. From the front row, you can see the lake, with only the gravel path between you and the lakeshore.
The cleanliness of the restrooms is worth noting; the cleaning staff came through at least three times a day—something you rarely see.
Since... we were there after Pentecost this year, the little shop with a bar and excellent espresso and cappuccino was open. There was also a pizza truck serving very good wood-fired pizza almost every day.
The only problem was the dog owners, who didn’t always keep their dogs in the designated areas, and on more than one occasion, dog waste was left right in front of our camper or the lake shore was marked in many places. Of course, the campground operator isn’t to blame for this—it’s more of a general issue. Perhaps, however, the rules could be explicitly pointed out to dog owners again during check-in.

A very neat campground—just really pleasant. The campground owners and staff are friendly and do their best to keep everything in good order and clean. The sites are spacious enough.
Negativa
It's a shame that dog owners are allowed on the campground. Some dog owners let their dogs relieve themselves on the campground, even though there's a designated area for that. But I also want to point out that there are exceptions!!
Stay at Fleiola Campground
This is our fifth year coming here, so that means we’re really enjoying ourselves.
And the pizzas you can pick up at the campground are also a nice bonus.
