Camping du Vieux Château – Your peaceful spot in the Saint-Emilion wine region The campsite is located at the foot of the medieval Château de Rauzan, right in the famous Saint-Emilion wine region. The grounds are filled with century-old trees, …creating a green and tranquil setting. The village of Rauzan is within walking distance, and the larger towns of Libourne and Bordeaux are nearby. Nature with history The site feels like a park, shaded by tall trees. You can choose a pitch in full sun or complete shade. All pitches are spacious (at least 110 m²) and separated by hedges. The ground is covered with grass. If you don’t bring your own equipment, you can rent mobile homes, bungalows, or a unique converted old Swiss army truck. Swimming with a castle view The heated swimming pool is bright and spacious, surrounded by greenery, potted plants, loungers, and parasols—a perfect place to relax. There’s a round children’s pool with a small slide. You’ll also enjoy a wonderful view of the nearby castle. Fun and activities Children have a playground with a bouncy castle, seesaw, and double swing. You can also enjoy the multisport court. During high season, the owner Tom offers archery and geocaching lessons. Every Thursday evening in high season, a friendly social event is held in and around the restaurant—great to meet new people. Dining and local products The restaurant has a small but tasty menu and a cozy terrace where you can relax under sun sails. The campsite shop sells basic groceries and local specialties.

In Rauzan, head towards the 'Gendarmerie' and take the D123 road opposite. Follow the signs for 'du Vieux Château.' The campsite is 300 meters ahead. For GPS, enter Rue Peyruc and follow the campsite signs.
