You can hear the highway 24/7—you have to be okay with that, but it didn’t bother us that much. The site has plenty of nooks and crannies, so you can pick out a quiet spot. The kids have a small playground with two slides, a swing, and a sandbox. The equipment isn’t the newest, but the kids... really liked it.
The owner spoke German and English, which was very helpful.
You need tokens for the showers. 1 token = 3 minutes in the shower. Unfortunately, the water pressure is very low, so it’s hard to rinse the shampoo out of your hair, but the restrooms are really well-maintained and very clean. Tickets for public transportation can be purchased... from a vending machine in front of the reception desk. The restroom facilities are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. At the reception you can also buy tickets for public transport throughout Prague. For less than 5 euros per adult and kids free up to 15 years. Also a good restaurant at the campsite.
