Profil

In the middle of the Betuwe, not far from Tiel and Rhenen, lies camping De Betuwe Hoeve. This small, quiet campsite offers large pitches on a green, sheltered camping area. The young owners provide a warm welcome and cosy hours …with drinks. During your stay, you can leave the car behind, as all facilities can be reached by bike. In the surrounding area you can go on beautiful walks and cycling tours. Large pitches 26 large pitches have been laid out on the long, green camping site. Some of them are sheltered by the edge of the wall, giving you the most privacy. The other pitches are a little more open, but they are also bordered by hedges on one or two sides. So you can choose a pitch with more or less shade and more or just less privacy. All pitches are nicely laid out on grass that is well maintained. Everything accessible by bike De Betuwe Hoeve has no swimming pool, camping shop, restaurant or bar. However, you will find all kinds of facilities in the immediate vicinity. Right next to the campsite is a tea garden on one side and an apple café with a farm shop on the other side, where you can get fresh local produce. In Lienden, two kilometres away, you will find a supermarket, a bakery and various cafés and restaurants. Sociable and cosy The atmosphere at the campsite is cosy and relaxed. Few activities are organised: there is no animation or excursion programme. But every Saturday afternoon you can have a cosy drink together at the campsite. You can get to know the other campers over a snack and a drink.
