New and modern sanitary facilities.

Sanitary facilities were not cleaned during our week's stay and were additionally soiled by the construction workers. Campsite is a construction site, constant noise from construction vehicles. Pitch was more makeshift with a hose for water and adventurous electrical wiring. WLAN not available. No indication when booking, because of prepayment we had no choice but to stay the week

Not a campsite, but a large construction site with corresponding noise.
WLAN not available. Pitch with provisional water supply and adventurous electricity supply. New sanitary facilities, but unused and dirty. Unfortunately, prepayment was required when booking, so we stayed the week we booked.
Everything will probably be taken away during the conversion to a new resort.
And also advertises with the ACSI Award. Very cheeky.

You can't do much here without a car or bike, flushing fee for hot water
Peace and quiet in the hinterland of the Zeeland coastal region
Whitsun to Holland, traffic jams on arrival and departure are pre-programmed :-) and therefore a quiet campsite is ideal for switching off, but Bonte Hoeve is really very quiet and rather in the hinterland. Oostburg is only 4km away, but to get to the North Sea you need to drive 12-15km. The site itself... is in the tourist area with nice, flat pitches. If you stand directly on the dam, the trees behind it make it difficult to align the satellite system. It's good if you have a normal antenna cable with you, as the comfort pitches offer a corresponding connection and reception of ARD, ZDF and RTL. The sanitary facilities are simple, but generally clean. The big deal was the 20ct charge for washing dishes and then there is pretty much half a blue camping dishwasher bowl full of warm water. Cold water, on the other hand, can simply be tapped. WLAN is available on site (but not free and not really for little money). Unfortunately, it failed completely on our weekend (server problems), but we were refunded the money by the always very friendly host family without any problems.
