"Campsite Bethof - At the beginning of September 2020, I spent a week with my son at the Naturfreunde Bad Bergzabern Bethof campsite. We went on day hikes from there. The Bethof campsite is a beautifully situated, quiet place to relax, hike and enjoy nature! The campsite and the sanitary facilities are clean and attractively designed. The special rules for dealing with the Corona situation have also been well implemented. The campsite staff (campsite warden and his deputy) are extremely friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, the overall impression was spoiled by the attached restaurant. The opening hours in the evening until 7pm, on Sundays even only until 6pm are, to put it mildly, completely wrong. Especially as you can no longer order food half an hour before closing time (by the way, the website states "9 pm" and "8 pm" as closing times). We were also quite put off by the unfriendly manner of the service staff. We would like to come here again and hope that arrangements can be found with the restaurant tenant that focus more on the needs of the guests and their well-being.

"Camping site bethof - Disadvantage for me is no internet and only limited TV key reception due to trees, also no dbt reception on the square, here you should maybe do something else, otherwise very nice

"Only one overnight stay but we will definitely be back. - We were only there one night with a tent and found it very pleasant. The campsite is rather small, with a few permanent campers and a few free pitches for WW and motorhomes and a tent pitch. Everything seemed well-kept and quiet, even at night it was nice and quiet. As cell phones have no reception, the site offers free WiFi, which works near the registration desk and also in the restaurant. We really enjoyed the food in the restaurant. There is no mini-market, but this is probably not worthwhile due to the rather small number of pitches. We will definitely be back, we really liked the site.

"If you are looking for peace and relaxation just the right thing - I had a great rest. Had my horse at the nearby riding stables and treated myself to some lovely days. Very nice for hiking and riding. Very helpful campers on site.

"Very well-kept and beautifully situated complex, dog paradise, pure tranquillity - Were Easter at Bethof, although the weather did not quite play along great vacation, everything fit, friendly new groundskeeper, wonderfully quiet, beautiful hiking trails from the Bethof, and for our four-legged friend a dog paradise because the forest is literally in front of the nose
