Beautiful view and proximity to the Pilatus

Freeway and train noise all day long, you can't fall asleep at night and you're woken up at 5 o'clock in the morning.
Once and never again!!!
The operator was very unfriendly and charged us the full daily price of 10 euros for our visit, which only lasted an hour.

Smiles and dishonesty.
We had booked in May, for July - "no problem!"- for a camper van - our camper van neighbors in January! We arrived before the end of the afternoon, on Friday July 19; the woman at reception was all smiles, certainly, the flowers very beautiful, white hydrangeas and magnificent hydrangeas! But we were... very disappointed by the pitch we were allocated - if you can call it a "pitch" at all! Half of us were on a stony part of the path leading down to the pretty lawns where the tents were set up. I tried to explain - the lady wasn't at ease in English - that I expected a reduction in the price, as we weren't exactly on a pitch - the same for the camper van coming from Birmingham and for a van, both of which had a view of the lake, but is that enough? The woman pretended not to understand, and we paid full price (64Fch for 4 people)! So there you have it: these people confuse "parking space" with "campsite", that's all! Apart from that, clean toilets. Nevertheless I shall say it in English too: these people think a parking-lot for a camper is all very well for one night! But the space that was allotted to us was NOT a camping pitch at all. That is why I say it was dishonest on their part...

Paying for tap water???
If you charge money for tap water in Switzerland - that's usury. The other prices are also rather high...

Excellent campsite on the beautiful lake of Lucerne with its private access. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the site and the toilets are immaculately clean. The only downside...the Swiss prices! Highly recommended
