Camping Au bout du Monde (translated: at the end of the world) has not stolen his name. The campsite is located in the tiny village Engreux (between Houffalize and La-Roche- en-Ardenne), in the middle of the real Belgian Ardenne. Located …in a natural park of 76,000 hectares, camping Au bout du Monde is the ideal base for beautiful walks and bike rides. The village is surrounded by the Eastern and Western Ourthe and the confluence of both. Through motorized traffic is not possible, so that real 'silence' can still be experienced on the campsite. This is our greatest asset (besides cleanliness), which makes the campsite attract people looking for peace and quiet. Camping Au bout du Monde is rather relaxed, small and charming. There is of course also room for conviviality: The tavern has an attractive terrace, an honest and delicious menu with homemade dishes, delicious coffee and local beers. The wood stoves give you warmth with local wood. Dogs are also welcome! Our campers come to enjoy nature, spending time (in activity) outside and (night) rest. We ask not to come in groups, not to play radios or make noise and to be real quiet on the camping site from 10 pm (until 8 am). There is also no question of noise of children loudly playing at this adults-only campsite. This adults only campsite is child-free, with no playground, no swimming pool. NOT because we are against children, but WELL because we are for peace and quiet. Camping Au bout du monde has about eighty camping pitches and a spacious field for tents. The campsite is located at an altitude of 432m. This makes the campsite very light, airy and spacious. There is absolutely no danger of wet feet. The tent field is lined with spruce, which offers advantages in terms of shade and acts as a windbreak. The places for caravans and motorhomes have a beautiful view on the valley. The places for the hammocks and the Ovals are also ideally located to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Two separate areas of the campsite are provided for residential mobile homes and caravans whose owners are welcome all year round. Dogs are welcome!
