Otherwise, everything is very far away. No bus connections. Difficult to get to.
Nice campsite
Getting there was not quite so easy. Our satnav (Garmin camper satnav for caravans) took us from the Cp on a country road with the address given. But there was no Cp to be seen far and wide. So we drove a few more miles and discovered a really small sign for a campsite. We wanted to drive to it. That... turned out not to be easy. The access road was sloping, narrow and tight. A challenge, but doable. A real insider tip! You have to want to do it. After this approach, we were very excited about what was to come. But we were not disappointed! A very cozy, very small campsite. We were warmly welcomed. The wash house blended into the surroundings and looked like a farmstead from the outside, but inside the sanitary facilities and showers were spacious and clean. A much-used hiking trail led past the campsite, but this did not disturb us in any way. A place in the middle of nature, very beautiful. A paradise for hikers. A bit far from the shot, no bus and nothing. So by car to the main train station about 6 km away. The car can be parked there free of charge. The train ticket Hadfield - Manchester and back costs 9.70 pounds for 2 people. Conclusion, a stay that will remain unforgettable.
