"Nice little campsite - We were at the campsite for the first time. We had a premium pitch and rented a bathroom. The campsite is close to the center 5min.to walk. Restaurant/pizzeria is also on the site. Delicious food, perfect value for money. All staff very friendly and understanding. Ski bus in front of the campsite. Will be back next year.

"Great location, friendly staff, small pitches - Camping Al Plan is located at the end of St. Vigil in the Rautal valley. The valley is a dead end and therefore the site is particularly quiet. We were there in June and were surprised that the site was full. Without a reservation we obviously wouldn't have been able to get a pitch. Very friendly reception (German, Italian, English, Ladin). As already written in other reviews, most of the pitches are extremely small. Our caravan is 6 meters long and filled the pitch with awning. It was not possible to extend to two pitches free of charge, as the pitch was full. The sanitary facilities are bright and clean. They are cleaned once a day. The bathroom we rented must be kept in good condition ourselves. Cleaning is scheduled once a week. If there is no toilet paper left or the garbage can is full, you will need to take the initiative. Al Plan does not have its own small store. Bakers and stores are in the immediate vicinity and can be easily reached on foot or by bike. There is a very good restaurant with moderate prices on the site itself. Highly recommended. The campsite itself is less attractive for children as there is no play equipment. However, there is a large recreation room above the sanitary building where table tennis etc. can be played. The place is very nice. Bars, restaurants, pizzerias, stores, petrol station...everything available. Tip: The ground is hard, very hard, take enough appropriate tent pegs with you and a steel hammer, rubber hammer does nothing at all

"Great location - Very nice and personal camping. Ideal for a ski vacation, top location on the outskirts, cross-country ski trail on site, ski bus on site...very friendly operators

"Small, fine campsite - Nice, clean campsite. Great view from the tent meadow. Friendly staff. Village center with daily necessities (bakery, supermarket, etc.) within walking distance. Pitches very small.

"Very quiet place and beautifully situated - We had actually reserved the pitch for Saturday but arrived on Thursday. We called from the road and it was no problem at all. When we realized that we wouldn't make it until 7.30 pm, we called again and our delay was no problem either. The operator of the campsite gave us a warm and helpful welcome. We had problems with the coffee machine, the fuse blew when we started it up. We were then given a 6 amp socket and everything was fine. The sanitary facilities are well thought out and spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves excellent food. The pitches are a bit small, so you get two. This is enough for a camper van and awning. You can park your car in front of the campsite as there are plenty of parking spaces. We had a very good rest, enjoyed the peace and quiet and can highly recommend the campsite. WLAN is also good and free of charge

GPS coordinates: 11 56 16 East 46 41 42 North. By car: You drive along the Brennero motorway until exit Bressanone/Val Pusteria, then on to the trunk road (SS49-E66) into Val Pusteria. After approx. 20 km, keep driving in the …direction of Brunico, then turn right at S. Lorenzo di Sebato into the Val Badia. The SS244 will lead you through Longega until you arrive at San Vigilio di Marebbe. You can also reach us via Lienz, in the East Tyrol, Austria. You will cross the Austrian-Italian border between Ahrnbach and Winnebach (B100-E66), and then keep driving on the trunk road (SS49-E66) until you reach Brunico and S. Lorenzo di Sebato. Then turn left into the Val Badia, and continue along the SS244 until you reach S. Vigilio di Marebbe.
