"Perfect place - Beautiful, large, lovingly maintained, terraced campsite, centrally located, approx. 100m to the sea. Perfectly situated for hiking and shopping on foot. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. The friendliness of the staff deserves special mention. 44€ for Womo, 2 p. and 2 dogs, ok for us. 100% recommendation from us.

"Well filled in the NS - Sept/Oct 2023 Reservations are advantageous at this time. Replies by e-mail will be answered, unlike Camping Cinque Terre in Levanto. Deposit is not necessary. Marco, as the "owner", does a good job and looks after things. The site is terraced and therefore not easily accessible for large camper vans or caravans. These pitches are located in the lower part of the site. Nevertheless, it is still relatively narrow and requires driving skills. The sanitary facilities are good, clean, plentiful and equipped with paper, even if the site is 80% booked. However, the sinks are an "architectural highlight"....The planner has probably never washed a plate in his entire life. The water pressure is enormous and the taps are at eye level.....Showering at the same time is the order of the day. Have fun washing up....judge for yourself...😊....The restaurant has great service and the menu is extensive and affordable. Locals also use this restaurant, and that says something.

"Poor service - You write an email for a request at 12:03 pm. After not even receiving a confirmation of receipt, I tried to reach someone by phone for the first time at 3:05 pm. I was briefly told that I would receive an email in response. After this did not arrive in my mailbox at 6:15 pm, I tried again at 6:21 pm to get a confirmation for the next 3 nights by phone. Now I received the incomprehensible and unacceptable statement that there was no more space available. Why couldn't I have been told this during the phone call at 12:03, what's the point? I was robbed of 6 hours in which I could have looked for an alternative. Obviously they don't need to be customer-oriented.

"Great place, pitches very varied - We were on the site for 4 nights in September; it is divided into 3 areas, which are separated from each other: down in the valley the large places for WoWo and WoWa, very nicely loosely divided with trees and planters; in the middle (up the slope) places for small WoMo (VW bus format) on beautiful terraces (here you may have to maneuver a little when changing a pitch further away) and in the upper part cozy terraces under olive trees for larger and smaller tents. (you may have to maneuver a little on arrival and departure if you want to change to a pitch further along the edge) and in the upper part there are comfortable terraces under olive trees for larger and smaller tents - with electricity columns everywhere. The sanitary blocks are numerous; I can't understand the criticism about the lack of soap: there are CPs that don't even have toilet paper - and that's very common, e.g. all over Corsica! Nevertheless, a small point of criticism about the sanitary blocks: even after the morning cleaning, there was an unpleasant smell of urine in 2 blocks - I couldn't explain it. The reception was in good English, the reception was open from 8:00 to 21:00 and those arriving were always shown the pitch in question. When we arrived, the site was still almost full and we were offered a single pitch. Levanto is directly adjacent to the campsite and offers the flair of a typical small Italian town: a variety of small stores, cozy enotecas, good (but not cheap) osterias and restaurants, pizzerias ... In the evening, the streets are really busy. Then you return home to your tent, enjoy the peace and quiet on the campsite with a glass of wine and look forward to the next day. We'll be back. One more comment on the "early arrivals": We have seen caravans and camper vans arriving at the campsite at 9:00 (!) in the morning! At this time, the booked pitch is of course not yet free and cannot be occupied. So the arrivals jammed up in the morning and blocked the exit for the departures! Please don't arrive until the afternoon - otherwise chaos is inevitable and frustration is high.

"No soap, but good location - Unfriendly, unwilling and uncomprehending regarding the lack of soap dispensers in both toilet areas. Instead of two disinfectants at both entrances to the toilet areas on the left and right, soap could at least be put in on one side. The upper toilet block lacks hooks in the toilets to hang up a jacket or bag. Nice location, lots of plants. With car and tent for one person €23/day. The gate is closed at 11 pm, you can only get in as a pedestrian with a code. The reception closes at half past nine (9.30 pm), so it is not possible to arrive later. Levanto is a great place for a vacation, but the staff/management could be better and doesn't seem so harmonious. Otherwise a clean campsite with all the usual facilities. A bit too labyrinthine for children or people with poor orientation. For seniors few places near the entrance, many places further away with many steps. Book in good time! No playground for children so far.

"Fantastic vacation! - We had a wonderful time at this campsite! The pitches are beautifully situated in the countryside (small nach, lots of trees and a view of a small vineyard). The sanitary facilities were very nice, modern and clean. There is a restaurant and bar on site, but the town center is just a few minutes' walk away. The hiking trail to Monterosso starts right outside the campsite gate. The more can also be reached in a few minutes. We will definitely be back!

Profil

Camping "Acqua Dolce" is located in the historic center of the quiet coastal town of Levanto, just 200 meters from the beach. Our site borders directly on the world-famous Cinque Terre National Park and the Punta Mesco Marine Protected Area. …This stretch of coastline is considered one of the most spectacular and characteristic areas in Italy. Our campsite covers an area of 12,000 square meters and bursts into lush Mediterranean vegetation every spring. The pitches are surrounded by numerous olive trees, making the entire site a green oasis for nature lovers. Levanto’s attractions are just a stone’s throw from our location: all major hiking trails to the Cinque Terre and the surrounding valleys begin in the old town. You can choose to enjoy the beach and the sea, take a boat trip to Porto Venere, Portofino or the Cinque Terre, or simply relax with a glass of fine wine in one of the many wine bars. The campsite is OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND! Just a few meters from the campsite you’ll find a swimming pool, a tennis court, several diving schools, sailboat and surfboard rentals, as well as numerous pubs, cafés, restaurants, and three cinemas. Pets are welcome.
