We were traveling as a cycling family and were able to set up our tents right by the lake. Small sandy beach with bathing island and opportunity to jump from the rocks into the lake. Sanitary facilities clean and functional. The bread rolls from the store in the morning were delicious! There is an American diner with a good price-performance ratio.
Negativa
A little out of the way. The nearest supermarket is too far away and the camping store has a poor range of products.
Natural campsite by the lake
Many permanent campers, but plenty of spacious pitches available. Tent options directly on the lake.
Recommended for cyclists and families.

A slightly different campsite with upward potential
The site is located away from a village in the middle of nature on a beautiful lake on the border with Norway. The site has a bit of American flair, American diner, historic gas station, old American vehicles, etc. The lake is very nice for swimming and has a bathing platform, diving board, rocks etc.... There are mainly permanent campers on the site, very well maintained, but they also occupy all the pitches facing the lake. The tourist pitches are at the entrance. The check-in was friendly and smooth. The reception offers bread rolls, a few drinks, snacks and souvenirs. There is an American restaurant at the entrance to the site. Small playground, bouncy castle. Boat rental and SUP rental. S
anitary facilities were very simple and clean. There aren't many opportunities to go for a walk, you have to cross the main road, which wasn't very busy at the time we were there as the border was still closed.
During our stay there was a party in the restaurant with music, unfortunately we already had drunken Swedish camping neighbors in the afternoon and there were some drunken teenagers on the way, who peed wildly in the middle of the way everywhere. That wasn't so nice. We made a few excursions from the campsite, such as the waterfall, Smögen etc.

Family camping, you've come to the right place
Located directly on the water. Great bathing opportunity. Reception friendly and happy to provide information about the site. Nostalgic filling station with older vehicles and equipment. Sanitary building a bit outdated but clean. Beautiful permanent grass pitches.

Very nice CP
Very nice and quiet campsite. We were there in June without registering, but that was no problem, there were still enough pitches available, we received a very friendly welcome, the paperwork was done quickly and then we were given a pitch right on the water. Everything top, 1a, we will definitely go there again.

Fantastic location
A campsite in an absolutely fantastic location. We got a pitch right on the lake, which is ideal for paddling/boating.
