A restaurant with a terrace offering a view (early reservations recommended) and the brasserie by the pool provide additional dining options. The pool is lovely, the view truly “looks out over the countryside,” and the sunsets are spectacular. Dog owners aren’t... alone here—a short loop around the upper part of the campground is perfect. Dog owners: Please just pick up after your dogs—it can’t be that hard!! There are dog waste bags available!! (I’m a dog owner myself)
The restrooms are very clean. As for the showers in the LuginsLand building, it’s absolutely necessary to clean the corners more thoroughly, replace the shower fixtures, remove the soap dispensers (which are empty anyway), and replace the glass corner shelves with something more suitable. These showers aren’t up to 5-star standards. I mentioned this at the front desk. We’ll see.

We found the behavior of some children very disruptive; they constantly... occupied the showers, ran around in them, and slammed the doors open and shut. They also sprayed water out of the shower stalls as if water were worthless. I reprimanded the children, since some parents didn’t feel it was necessary to do so themselves. We have children of our own, and children don’t bother us in the least. Unfortunately, however, there are parents who can’t control their children and clearly don’t want to change that. Mutual respect would be appropriate, along with supervision at the pool and consequences for ill-mannered children.
We also really enjoyed the wine tour with Mr. Büchin. We highly recommend it.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

What I noticed this time was that I booked from June 20 to July 6 and made full use of the time, but the season pass was only valid from June 20 to June 21. The campground offers a shuttle to town for 1€ per ride, available by advance reservation. The distance to the train station is about 1.5 km, and to the town center for shopping is about 3 km. That’s why a bike comes in handy here, since... you can use public transportation for free with the guest card.
It offers everything from several playgrounds, fire pits, entertainment (high season), a pool, utility hookups for RVs, separate transit sites, and multiple restroom buildings.
In the main restroom building, in addition to great showers with rain showerheads and plenty of restrooms, there are even free dishwashers for washing dishes. The marble design is very beautiful, but the abundance of black makes it feel a bit dreary.
Our comfort site was about 100 square meters and equipped with water and wastewater connections. Thanks to the beautiful hedges, trees, and shrubs, most sites are clearly separated from one another and offer a bit of privacy. For large RVs with trailers, the entrance to the path in front of the sites may be too narrow if the front corner sites are occupied. We had to “maneuver”...
Bread rolls must be ordered online by 4 p.m. the day before and aren’t exactly cheap. This isn’t acceptable for a campground of this size during peak season, especially since the on-site shop isn’t particularly impressive either. It’s better to shop elsewhere. Or grab a meal at one of the two restaurants, which have different styles—but that’s a good thing. We were satisfied with the quality of the food at both, though the service at the brasserie could use some improvement :-).
Conclusion:
