We really enjoyed it again! We were allocated the place we wanted when we made our reservation. It was very important to us that we could see the children on the playground from our seat!

We really enjoyed the course. Our children had lots of opportunities to play and were very independent.

Unfortunately, the disadvantage was that many children were allowed to run around on the pitch until 11 pm. And this resulted in noise pollution after 10 pm.

We had a beautiful pitch with trees. The sanitary facilities are great and very well maintained, it was not noticeable that the site was full. The playground was great and well used without disturbing the peace and quiet. There was a large selection of delicious bread rolls in the store.

There was no bus connection to the village; the offer to explore the area for 1 euro became uninteresting because you had to walk to the village first.

We stood in the water for 4 days with the caravan (pitch 649). After the heavy rain at night it was even worse. Unfortunately we couldn't change pitches because everything was full. We had to pack everything up soaking wet and then clean and dry it at home. Pitch 648 had the same problem.

The campsite was well signposted. The sanitary facilities were super clean. Shopping facilities on site as well as a restaurant and alternating snack stands. Super location.

Nothing to complain about

There is not much to say. Just a nice campsite with lots on offer. Just one example: the fish snack bar that is on site from Tuesday to Thursday. It's something great and very good for us Swiss. Highly recommended. Very friendly.

The only disadvantage for us as Swiss was the barrier when driving in and out, which sometimes didn't work. It probably didn't always recognize our number.

What has annoyed me in recent years is that some dog owners do not take away the waste left behind by their four-legged friends.

We had the toilet right in front of the tent, which was very practical with a small child. Small supermarket on the pitch with a bakery inside. The bread rolls were delicious. Nice that there is also a program for children. Unfortunately we couldn't use it because we were busy. But will do so next time.

The toilet in front of the tent meadow had no light during the day, which you don't really need. As the cubicles are blue, it was quite dark in the toilet in the weather. My son was quite scared at first. The water in the showers made me personally nervous as I was under a cold shower as soon as someone else had water on.

The whole place is clean and very well maintained. Staff are constantly on the move to ensure that everything runs smoothly. As soon as someone leaves, the pitch is mowed.

The garbage cans could be better labeled so that you know directly what belongs in them.

Super nice campsite. I was there with my 3 granddaughters (11-15 years). We had one of the North Sea waves, small but spacious. Everything you needed was there, quiet location and the wash house (super clean) not far and a supermarket is also available.

The girls didn't like the little heart in the toilet door, I missed a small shelf.

There were conflicts with older boys (14 years +) on the playground. A sporadic presence of campsite staff would be useful here.

Since it is also suitable to go on vacation with a dog, a small fenced dog meadow is simply missing, where the four-legged friends can also romp around and move freely. We used the soccer field but only for a short time, because children came to play soccer or we went for a walk on the dog beach. But if the weather is not suitable for walking, it would be cool for the dogs to have some exercise instead of just lying in front of the tent on a leash. That would be a highlight of a vacation with a dog at your campsite.

The site is very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean and spacious. Shopping facilities are available, including trolleys for fish and cold meats.

The site has a huge problem with countless pigeons. Not only do they completely shit up the caravans, motorhomes and cars, they also walk over the cars at 5 a.m. making such a loud noise that you can no longer sleep. This urgently needs to be remedied.

Everything was tip-top in my eyes/small supermarket with fresh bread rolls in the morning bike rental right next door - nothing to complain about 👍🏻

On the pitches for motorhomes, grass pavers were laid for the lane. Very clean, quiet, WLAN almost always works, great sanitary facilities. Good supermarket and sometimes a fish snack bar on site. Electricity and water included. Close to the dyke. Good pizzeria on site. Camperclean.

The pigeons were sometimes too much. No bus connection directly at the square. Bimmelbahn runs only from 11 h u last return trip from the harbor to the square already at 17.30 h. Ferry from Norderney, however, arrives only at about 17.35 h . Is also feasible on foot but e.g. not so great in the rain. No e.g. tape explanations to the place in the Bimmelbahn, a pity. Washing or drying once costs 5 € each, a little less would be nice.

Well-kept and modern complex with a wide range of facilities for a comfortable camping vacation. The new chalet complex with the modern lodge houses is ideal for a family vacation with children, as it is largely car-free and is only used for loading and unloading.

We stayed in Chalet 62 of the new lodge complex. This new complex is completely open, the chalets are detached and are not suitable for guests seeking peace and quiet and longing for relaxation. More on this in the review.

1. the supermarket had hardly any bread rolls on the day of arrival, when I asked if there were any left, I got the answer "we're not baking any more today" that was at 3 p.m., the other days there were no more potato rolls either :-( There is room for improvement in the supermarket...... 2. the dogs were too many for us, there were a lot of dog waste bins scattered around the site, but unfortunately there are still dog owners who think that they are not responsible for what is left behind. :-( I had the misfortune of stepping in a footpath twice.

The pricing policy doesn't work at all! On June 9, 2025, I looked up prices on the site's homepage: Price for a category B pitch for caravan and 2 adults: €41 including everything per day from June 10-12. We went there without a reservation on June 10. When I registered, I was then quoted a price of €47. When I asked about the difference, I was told: "We had 40 arrivals today without a reservation. So we had to put the prices up." I have never experienced anything like this in over e0 years of camping with a caravan. This campsite won't be seeing me again. What a shame, really...

Bathing and swimming is difficult - Wadden Sea. The only option is to take a ferry to one of the islands.
