Sandwiches, are sold a lot. Price is way too expensive.

Location, Salzburg Saalach card, luxury toilet building, beautiful site on gravel and grass where the children's tents could also stand.

The weather, but there's nothing you can do about that! I found the campground a bit "atmospheric". As far as I'm concerned, more could have been done about meeting people. Especially for the children (summer vacations) and especially with the weather. Once a children's bingo, or quiz. Table tennis or bocce tournament. That kind of thing.

Great large pitches, spacious and therefore very quiet, despite many campers. Wet cells are unique and rarely seen. Always very clean.

The large pitches with a view. The sanitary building was in 1 word great. Very clean, large of all amenities.

No play equipment on the fields for small children. And our biggest lack was a swimming pool which really belongs to such a luxury campsite.

Electricity flat rate of €6 for a van is far too expensive. Especially because we only need electricity to charge our e-bikes and are otherwise self-sufficient.

A wonderful spot on earth! The vacation at the Grubhof was super nice! Great in combination with the Saalachcard!

Camp suitable for children. Hot water included. Regular cleaning of toilets and showers. Optional program during the week. Common room. Several ping pong tables. Saalach card included.

There was no possibility to rent a volleyball/badminton net, although there was a court. Garbage in one room. This forces guests to sort their waste right next to the tent and leave several garbage bags in front of the tent. A container for municipal waste near the tent city would be an advantage.

Very nice sanitary facilities, nice large pitches, beautifully situated with the river and hiking trails.

We've been there many times and we love the size of the pitches and the really well-designed sanitary blocks.

Unfortunately, the problem of campers walking across the grass is not being solved. Sometimes right next to the vehicle. For some, the tiny detour behind the vehicles is too far to walk! Dog owners also sometimes walk their dogs on the pitch meadows. If you speak to them, you will be treated rudely. This is really annoying and irritating.

Check-in takes a very long time and is far too extensive. Documentation provided is ample and clear What bothers us is that the manager or franchiser of the shop/restaurant is totally unfriendly and grumpy to employees and guests. Also, he puts his decadent car in front of the store and not in a parking lot. He shows that he makes a lot of money.

We really liked the spacious pitches and the family pools right from the start. The breathtaking mountains all around, the great cycle paths, the many excursion possibilities to gorges, mountains, Salzburg etc. can provide a lot of variety. But it is also possible to spend the day on the campsite cooling off in the mountain river or enjoying a sauna and massage. The large meadows between the pitches invite you to linger.

The massages are very expensive.

We actually liked everything, from the super friendly staff to the huge pitches. I simply can't say anything negative, everything was great!

I don't know, maybe the price. It's already above average. But the location is unique. Therefore also justified.

We were in the tent meadow. It didn't work out so well with the privacy. Twice a tent was erected next to us at a very close distance of about 1 meter The usher should take better care of that.

Great welcome on arrival. Lots of useful information given and explained on facilities and surrounding area. Fabulous pitch with amazing views of surrounding mountains. Large grassy area in front of each pitch. Facilities second to none with large individual shower rooms with shower, toilet and sink. Large site but doesn’t feel like it as so well laid out.

Camping on the banks of the Saalach and the possibility to barbecue on wood, coal or gas. A dream campsite!

Neighbors who have no tolerance for nature camping and prefer to enjoy their food from the hot-air fryer and microwave rather than trout from the grill or fish on a stick.

We were very satisfied with this campsite the first vacation where we really relaxed, despite no lunch break on the pitch it was very quiet. Large showers great play facilities for the kids of all ages. We will come again.

Last evening we wanted to get pizzas, the restaurant was overwhelmed because 50 pizzas were ordered and could only put off the place people with a long wait.

Everything was great... From the xxl pitch by the river, to to the very clean and spacious sanitary building with family bathroom. The kiosk, the restaurant and last but not least the reception, with very friendly and competent staff. We liked everything about the Grubhof campsite. We have never felt soooooo comfortable at a campsite before. An unforgettable experience.

Leisure activities in the Saalachtal, hiking trails, cycle routes.

The offer in the Minishop is very limited, except for fresh bread in the morning. You have to rely on the supermarkets (which are closed on Sundays and public holidays).

The location of the campsite is beautiful and you are well placed for excursions in Austria and Bavaria. The site is generously laid out with lots of nature, very modern facilities and always clean. The nice and good restaurant with the very friendly staff and also the nice reception staff must also be mentioned positively... only disadvantage: without a reservation there is no place :-)

We were near a young family with a crying baby, especially at night very annoying. But yes they too have a right to vacation.

Clean, spacious, well-designed, beautiful setting, family-friendly.

My daughter (5) says: you could hide some treasures around like gem stones. and she had some suggestions for additional ice cream offerings you could consider. My wife says maybe consider having some "loaner" bikes on hand for quick trips into town or especially for kids that forgot to bring a bike. So... pretty much we don't have any complaints.

There's actually no disadvantage, except that I had a dog with me and was assigned to the "dog zone", i.e. there were four-legged friends in every caravan and that was too much for my dog. It's more mixed elsewhere.

Beautiful spacious pitches directly on the Saalach river with all connections. Well-kept sanitary facilities. Large family bathrooms, which can also be rented for the duration of your stay (except in high season).

The family bathrooms are self-contained but unfortunately very bright.

I have nothing to complain about.

The campsite is beautifully situated, depending on where you stand you have a view of the meadow, the pond or the river. The toilet facilities were always clean. There is a small kiosk on the site with a nice selection of bread rolls.

If I had one small criticism, it would be great if the kiosk could also offer fruit and vegetables.

The sanitary facilities are great and huge. The proximity to the village, the restaurant on site, the shopping facilities, the hiking and cycling trails and much more

Unfortunately, the children trample the flowers in the middle. Car drivers use the road on the square as a race track and at some point a child is hit. There should be "walking speed" signs or speed bumps.

Location of pitches 27-31.we would like to book one of these pitches again for our next stay.the sauna/spa area was very pleasant.the staff were very obliging and friendly.overall the atmosphere was very good.

The "LIEGEWIESE", which is overpopulated on the holiday, and the constant annoyance with dog owners who let their dogs run free and watch them do their business.

Pitches very large and park-like, very friendly staff, sanitary facilities unsurpassed and always clean, number absolutely sufficient, beautifully laid out playground, waste disposal in a kind of hill, does not disturb at all, you are very quickly outside in the area, good shopping facilities in max. 2 km distance, good and sufficient restaurants.

Nothing really. Bit more privacy on your pitch as caravans all park nose to tail is not the best as can have a can 1m from yours but all other benefits outweigh this unusual situation.

Stress how to deal with rising river water after several days of rain. Fine conversation afterwards about routing in case of evacuation and plans for improvement in the future.

Waste water at supply column: gray water disposal is difficult, as concrete rings incl. inlet nozzles are usually too high. Cleaning hose of the manual disposal station of the chemical toilet is outdated and kinked. Paper towels and possibly disinfectant for hands would be advisable.

The pitch size is a big advantage for us, we are always on the road with a double-axle caravan. Another advantage is the very comfortable sanitary facilities.
