as my base for hikes on the Furka Pass and the Aletsch Glacier.
The site is ideal for this, you can always find a quiet corner for a tent and car. The staff were very friendly, the site was kept clean, the showers were TOP - (including the small cold natural shower at the top end)

Nils M.Septembar 2017PozitivnoConveniently located, clean good sanitary facilities, friendlyPleasant and unagitated campsiteI was here on the way back from a motorcycle tour to a stopover for Furka and Grimsel. The site is simple and not overcrowded. There are no plots, which is a good thing. The meadow area is somewhat structured and flat. From a distance, you can hear the horns of post buses during the day. There are also... bivouacs for hire. Campers can use a Furka mountain railroad carriage parked here and the terrace in front of it. There is also electricity for smartphones etc. in the wagon. The sanitary facilities are modern and very clean. If the place is very busy, there could possibly be bottlenecks. I was able to wash dishes in the scullery of the associated lodge.
