As a bike traveler, I was happy to get to the campsite in the evening, but the next morning I was charged 53 euros for a bike and a mini tent. Discussing this was pointless - according to reception, I could have asked what it would cost beforehand. I was obviously deliberately charged for the most expensive... pitch available, even though I obviously didn't have two large caravans with me to park. Very unfriendly and arbitrary, because I could have stayed in a hotel and the people at reception were aware of this. And yes, I didn't ask about the price, because I've been to over a hundred campsites, some with very upmarket facilities, and have never had to pay more than 28 euros.

Pitches and paths far too small
Phew...so not again
We found this place on the internet and chose it as a stopover on our trip to Spain.
First of all: Our caravan is 13.10m (4.70m towing vehicle and 8.40m caravan)
Apart from the beautiful and well-kept site, we can't really leave much positive feedback.
1. the paths in the complex are narrow and partly... overgrown - scratches send their regards
2. the pitches are very small and partly disturbed by trees and hedges, so that it is almost impossible to align yourself without a mover.
3. the pool area may not be entered with flip-flops and eating is also not allowed there.
4. however, our son came to us disappointed because you are only allowed to swim there in skin-tight swimming trunks. We still don't understand why, but you don't have to speak English because you're French.
5. Strong power fluctuations which cause problems, especially for newer caravan models.

Sorry, but this was our first trip to France and it was simply disappointing.

The campsite is in a quiet location and is also used by dog owners. There is a 500 m footpath to the beach, which is unfortunately also used as a toilet by dogs and horses. Once you have negotiated the path, you have to pass a wild garbage dump and then another 200 m through a narrow strip of a nature... reserve. Then you finally reach the beach. Even in the high season and on weekends, it is never crowded and very clean, but slopes very steeply down to the water, so it is not suitable for small children. The water is clear. However, it is hardly suitable for snorkeling as there are very few fish. Back to the campsite: The sanitary facilities are medieval: no toilet seats, only cleaned once a day(?), showers and sinks without temperature control (therefore either lukewarm or cold water). The pitches are of average size. They are bordered by very high hedges, which are very oppressive. WLAN is available everywhere for a fee. The CP bakery has a small selection, but the quality is poor. Conclusion: For us, the very poor standard around the sanitary building is the reason why we cannot recommend the campsite.
