Pitches in different sizes, if you want to be close to the water you should book early. The shore is a maximum of 100 m away from all pitches, and of course there are also pitches right by the water. You can choose between sunny, semi-shady and pitches under trees. We opted for a sunny pitch and didn't regret it. The sanitary facilities... are adequate and are cleaned twice a day. There is a restaurant right on the site, where a local bakery sells bread rolls etc. in the morning. There is a free shuttle bus from the campsite to Salzburg twice a week and to the Königsee once a week. The site is in a great location for cycling tours and hikes. The town of Waging is approx. 2.5 km away and offers both shopping and dining options. There are also plenty of activities for children. The campsite itself has a non-swimmer and swimmer area and a small playground right by the water. The Beeker family, the owners of the campsite, are extremely friendly. If you can talk about criticism, the WLAN stability and quality could be much better.
We also noticed that there are more and more generational conflicts, which is certainly a social problem. Everything was just right, from the welcome to the size of the pitch, from the cleanliness of the sanitary... facilities to the See-Alm restaurant, from the friendliness of everyone involved to the direct access to the lake, from the peace and quiet to the relaxation factor.
And what was particularly nice was that there were no dogs barking with various consequences and disputes.

Access narrow and quickly overcrowded.Top place but at noon 3h no shower...An absolute no-go for us: the sanitary building with the (hot) showers is not only closed in the morning (3:00-6:30) but also at lunchtime from 12:00-15:00. I always come back from sports during this time and can't shower for several hours. When asked, I was told that I was an athlete and could take... the ice-cold shower at the lake or shower less because soap is not good for the skin. If we hadn't made a reservation we would have left.
