We spent the night in our mini camper on the pier at the harbor. Such peace and quiet—it was truly wonderful. And at a price that made me very happy. Although very full in August, a team of young people tries to keep the sanitary facilities clean several times a day to the best of their ability. This is usually... successful.
In addition to the campers, there are lots of boat moorings. But this completes the harbor atmosphere. Very quiet at night.
You can hire beautiful sloops for around 170 euros and cruise the canals in Friesland all day long. The berths are not very big. Water is only available at a tap in the area.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is not good. We tried pizza. The dough is a ready-made product that tastes more like cardboard than dough. All at considerable prices.
