A very pleasant stay, super clean
We stayed 2 nights with our family (3 young children) in our camper van. The booking process is easy, the camp site is beautiful and super clean. A lot of entertainment (indoor and outdoor playgrounds) for our children. We booked here mainly for the swimming pool, it is beautiful but it is also cold.... Could not enjoy too much. We took a bath for only 10-15 minutes.

The wetland nature park just outside the camp site is stunning. Never see so many sheeps this close in my life. And the birds, we really loved the nature around. The toilet, shower and kitchen are probably the cleanest camp site we ever see - a lot of camp site even they are clean, there is still smell of toilet/ kitchen. However this camp site is so clean that you dont mind to stay longer :D

We also tried the morning bread service but disspointed. We thought the bread are freshly baked. But defintely you can tell it is overnight. The bread is not cheap, a little over 1EUR each. As freshly baked bread for breakfast we would say the price is very nice. However, paying close to 6EUR for 5 overnight old bread is not something we appreciated at all. This is why we do not give 5 out of 5 points for our experience in the camp site.

If it is not the bread, we will give 4,7 out of 5. If the pool is warmer, we will give a 5 out of 5.

Everything was great and highly recommended.
Everything was great, and the staff was very friendly. Everything was clean and tidy. A great starting point for day trips. Lots of nature and friendly sheep. There’s an amazing swimming pond that doesn’t really come across in the pictures. Very kid-friendly, and the pay-as-you-go card works great for kids, too. Highly recommended.

Campground Review
The only thing that bothered me was the anonymity—everything is done online and they only accept card payments. I don't think it's right to pay by card for just four rolls. But maybe someone had a bad experience with the staff when paying in cash?

A first-class venue
I stumbled upon this campground by chance and was surprised by how nice it was. Everything was very clean and well-organized.
The only thing I missed was a small spot where I could have a drink in the evening or chat with others.

It’s a beautiful campground with very clean restrooms and a wonderful natural swimming pool. The staff at the front desk are very friendly, and the campground kitchen is also lovely; the sites are spacious enough, and we even had a spot with a tree. The entire campground is located right behind the dike, and the small supermarket is also very well-maintained and pleasant.

Top-notch campground. Modern, clean. Cashless, even at the kiosk. Swimming pond, sauna, and great play areas for the kids. The sites are large enough and equipped with electricity, gray water, and fresh water. The restroom facilities are top-notch. Shower stalls with plenty of shelves, hooks, and even... lockers. Spacious—there’s no shortage of room.
From the campground, you can explore the area or bike into town. Bike maps are available at the front desk.
It’s certainly not cheap, but it’s worth investing the money to enjoy your free time here.

Camping with an All-Inclusive Package
General:
Check-in and check-out were very straightforward, since everything could be handled online. As a result, there were no lines at the entrance or reception (though there might not have been enough space for them anyway). I also thought the bread roll service was great. The selection was adequate,... though I’m used to slightly crispier rolls since I have a bakery right in my neighborhood back home. For campers who want a bit more peace and privacy, I recommend the western part of the campground.

Staff:
All in all, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, the North Frisian mindset might not be everyone’s cup of tea. They have a very dry sense of humor that takes some getting used to. It wasn’t a problem for me, but it might be for others. The fact that the rolls can’t be picked up until 8:00 a.m. is actually okay. However, one day we had to set out on an excursion quite early. It would have been nice if we could have gotten the rolls we ordered earlier. So we just had to skip them that one time and prepare our bread the day before.

Campsite:
For me, the unlimited electricity connection is a huge plus (I’ve been to other sites where you’re only allowed to draw 1,000 watts). Here, the full 3,600 watts are available. I’d also never had fresh water and gray water connections like this before—absolutely top-notch. The only minor drawback was the condition of the site. The grass had already been damaged by the previous campers and was in even worse shape in some places after our stay. We also had significant problems with the tent stakes. The first 10 cm went in fairly easily, but after that it felt like concrete. A neighbor even told me about problems with the screw-in stakes. Without further ado, I hammered the stakes in at a very shallow angle to secure the awning and sunshade against the initial gusts of wind. So, unfortunately, one star deducted. The other sites around us looked better. We didn’t need any help from a campground staff member.

We didn’t use the
coastal cabins, but we did look at them from a distance. They actually look quite cute, and that should be the key clue that they’re quite small. I think there’s only a few square meters of space inside, just enough to stand at the entrance and fit the bed inside. The shower and restroom are just a 50-meter walk away. Perfectly adequate as a place to stay for a short trip. But if you want to stay longer than 3 days, you should book a chalet.

Chalet
We didn’t use it either, but we walked past it often enough. It looks very spartan from the outside. Inside, there’s probably room for up to four people. Outside, there’s a small porch and a paved parking spot for a car. Inside, however, there’s also a kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. It’s ideal for people who want to stay at a campground but don’t want to give up certain amenities.

Convenience Store
We only used the convenience store once because—how could it be otherwise—we’d forgotten the chemical cleaner for our camping toilet at home. They have a small selection of useful items—including some camping supplies. Prices are, of course, a bit higher than at the supermarket. Payment is handled via a self-service terminal—so you scan the items yourself and pay with a card. That way, you don’t have to wait for the staff member at the front desk.

Recreational Activities
We didn’t use the bike rental or the playground. Wi-Fi is free, and I’d describe the coverage on the campground as satisfactory (I usually had 2 out of 3 bars). There are a few access points that use directional antennas to feed the widely distributed repeaters. We had internet radio playing more or less all day, and there were only rare connection drops. I didn’t try any data-intensive applications, but I could imagine that might cause some issues. Cell service (Telekom) at our campsite was on the border between G5 and LTE.
I think the recreational offerings are quite good. Free use of the sauna, the fitness room, and the swimming pond. We didn’t use the first two, but toward the end of our stay, we ventured into the swimming pond. 18° was quite refreshing. Keep in mind that it’s a pond and not chlorinated water. Algae buildup is therefore normal. The water is filtered naturally.

A Campground for Everyone

A beautiful campground on the dike
A beautiful, clean campground with a really lovely natural pool.
Good selection at the small market.
My only criticism is the process for ordering bread rolls via the website or the service area.
Personally, I don’t think this is a good fit for a campground with such a friendly reception area. An old-school list posted on the bulletin board would be much more personal.
