Everything on the site was very easy to reach. The sanitary facilities were kept very clean and the kitchen area (for washing dishes) is great, there is even a dishwasher.
There is a vending machine for emptying the toilet from the caravan and it... costs 1 euro per use.
There is also a small store on the campsite. It has a very good range of products.
The owner was very nice and helpful.
A few days a week there is a fish cart in front of the store which offers delicious lunches.
We were on the site at Easter and the owners organized an Easter bonfire, where food was also provided.

The site impresses with its open construction and view, small hedges separate the individual areas - very nice. Friendly staff round off the whole thing.... The supermarket on the site provides all the essentials for daily life - every morning there are extremely tasty and freshly baked bread rolls - a feast for every camper family.

The pre-check-in service was very practical, once everything has been paid for - you can drive straight to your pitch without having to go to reception.
Norddeich is easy to reach on foot. There are several cycle routes in the area.

Quietly situated in the countryside but still within 10 minutes walking distance of Norddeich. We spontaneously booked two nights at the beginning of April. Check in was quick and friendly. But you can also check... in beforehand via the app. Pitch in the front dog area was flat with electricity, water, waste water and nice and big. Dogs are only allowed on a small specific part of the pitch in the front area, otherwise not on the pitch. Dogs are only allowed on the dyke and therefore on the water if there are no sheep on the dyke, otherwise dogs are absolutely forbidden. Then you only have the option of walking your dog along the road.

Sanitary facilities were always clean, but could have been a bit warmer at the beginning of April.
On Tuesdays a fish car came with a very good offer. You can easily start from the campsite by bike, there is also a bike and kettcar rental. There is a well-stocked supermarket with a good selection of rolls, bread, pastries and cakes in the morning.
We also liked the fact that there were garbage cans dotted around the site along the paths.
We paid the tourist tax but unfortunately you can't make good use of it. You have to pay extra for many things in Norddeich and Norden. For example, toilets and parking. Swimming pool, seal station, strolling around Norddeich, going to a restaurant, or just grabbing a quick fish sandwich at the snack bar and eating, nothing works without parking fees. And the meter maid walks around the parking lots all day long and writes up parking tickets. That can easily add up to over 10 euros in parking fees in one day.
It's not the campsite's fault, but it used to be better regulated. You paid a tourist fee and got a card and could park for free in certain parking lots.Samodejno prevedeno.- Mike S.april 2025PozitivnoSupermarket and the fish snack barNegativnoAll requests for spontaneous reservations were rejected by telephone. As we arrived a day early, we were allocated a place for one night which was much more expensive than the one we had booked. Supposedly it was the only one, although there were actually many other places available. In addition, our daughter was allocated a campsite that was overpriced. Unfortunately, as a guest you feel rather cheated by this. We didn't get the impression that they were thinking about the guest but wanted to make money, which is a real shame. There are other places that are friendlier and more accommodating to customers. We've been here three years in a row now and won't be coming back for a while.Stay from 17.04-25.04For the reasons mentioned we will not come back. We had enough space on our pitch for a 7.5 meter caravan plus awning and car.
Electricity, water and waste water connections were directly on the pitch.
The sanitary facilities... are easily accessible and were always clean.
The online check-in is recommended. We were able to drive straight through the barrier to our previously confirmed pitch.
You can find essentials in the small supermarket.
If you are self-catering, there is also a Netto supermarket about 2 km away.

As this was our first time towing a caravan (we'd previously only had a fixed one in the Sauerland), we were delighted with the service we received when booking.... Thanks to the license plate recognition, we were able to get to the site immediately and the good signage meant we were able to get to our pitch very quickly. Once we arrived, I was really impressed with the space available for maneuvering etc. (500 space)
Especially for the first time, I was grateful not to have to maneuver in a very confined space.
The pitch was clean and supplied with water, waste water and electricity.
Our son immediately explored the two playgrounds.
After being very disappointed last year at a campsite (with a tent) in terms of the cleanliness and quality of the sanitary blocks, we were pleasantly surprised here. Always clean and the behavior of the campers here was great. There is nothing to complain about.
We'll be back next year... that's for sure.

From there you can take the ferry to the island of Norderney for the day. We also visited the beautiful, lively town of Greetsiel and the Pilsum lighthouse by bike.
