- Sabine R.april 2025A good time at EcktannenWe stayed at the Ecktannen campsite for the second time in April. The reception team is very friendly and helpful. You can choose your own pitch, which I find very pleasant. The site is very well maintained and the sanitary blocks are super clean at all times of the day. The site is right next to the... Müritz and you can do a lot of hiking and the cycle routes are great. There is a small mini store and a very nice bistro with a very good and affordable range of food. The dog run is also great. Our dog was able to run around off the lead. All in all, I would gladly give the campsite and the entire team seven stars if it were possible. We will definitely be back!!! Very clean and modern sanitary facilities in more than sufficient numbers.
A small suggestion would be a slightly faster W-Lan. It is available free of charge throughout the campsite, but when there are a lot of guests on site it occasionally reaches its limits.

and tiptop clean and modern. Of course, the sanitary facilities are important, 1a....
the friendly and naturally sympathetic manner of the staff and the surroundings of water and forest. The surprise with... the Easter eggs outside the door on Easter Sunday was also simply great and something I've never experienced before. The really only drawback for me, despite the 90% wifi coverage of the site, almost never reception despite the short distance to the antenna in front of the barrier. (I just don't need it for surfing - but despite holidays - for work, and that was quite a hassle.
But I would gladly come back at any time and recommend it to others !!!

Surprisingly, the site was only sparsely occupied despite the Easter vacations. The weather was fine and we were able to enjoy our time and often used the beautiful lakeside path to the harbor and biked extensively in the surrounding area. The new wash... house is functional and was cleaned regularly. Nothing was missing. What could be added from our point of view would be a CamperClean.
