8 days of pure relaxation plus great weather.
The first shower facility was already very clean and very well maintained which we tested about 2 years ago.
But the new shower building is a 5-star hit.
We would love... to come back to relax with you and do some bike tours on site.
The cycle paths are better here than in the Ruhr area.

- Angelika V.maj 2025Extended WE in MayWe were with our 2 grandchildren (3 and 9) on this beautiful, well-kept site. The sanitary facilities are very good and very clean. The children's pool was also great! There were great play opportunities for the little ones. For our 9 year old grandson the offer was unfortunately a little too meager.... As grandparents, we definitely missed a seat with a backrest in the playgrounds. It's also a shame that the bistro is only open from 5pm to 8pm. The food on offer there was good and the service was very friendly. It would be nice if you could buy ice cream or chips in between. We would also very much welcome a vending machine with regional products (eggs, jam etc.)

Positive:
Site is clean, playgrounds in good condition,
sanitary facilities clean.
Negatives:
If one minute of showering costs 25 cents, then we expect to be able to take a hot shower or to have more water in the hand showers.
We tried several... showers,
unfortunately it is a general problem (in the new wash house).
I think it should be feasible in terms of costing to give guests a hot shower from time to time.
Especially in spring and fall.

The sanitary facilities are also modern, clean and child-friendly. The surrounding area is perfect for excursions, whether by bike or on foot.
What we particularly liked: the quiet atmosphere despite the many families. Everyone will find a place here - whether with a caravan, tent or in a rental property.
