"Price-performance ratio not justified - First the positive things on the course: The food in the restaurant was good and the staff here were also very friendly. The campsite's sanitary facilities were modern and clean. The bread roll service is great, you don't have to order in advance and there is a real little "bakery store" with lots of choice. Access to the Lahn is perfect from the campsite, whether for swimming, SUP or canoeing. Unfortunately, we were anything but satisfied with the campsite in general, especially with the prices. There are just 3 toilets and 3 showers, but what bothered us even more was that we couldn't adjust the pressure or temperature of the showers ourselves. Furthermore, when we booked by phone, we asked for a pitch directly on the Lahn and were told that there were none available. During our stay, we then discovered that several seats in the first row were free for the entire weekend. It was not clear to us why we were not allowed to stand there. The lady at reception seemed annoyed and wasn't particularly friendly when we checked in. Unfortunately, we hadn't booked a late departure in advance because we wanted to stay a little longer on Sundays. In the morning, it became apparent that it would rain for the rest of the day and we asked if we could cancel our late departure as an accommodation. The only answer we got was "Nope", nothing more. Customer friendliness definitely looks different. I realize that we booked the late departure and that it was ultimately our bad luck, but they could have at least made some concessions or at least talked to us about it. We were there with a total of 3 vehicles on 3 pitches and none of us will be coming back and we definitely wouldn't recommend the site to anyone.

"Beautiful campsite directly on the Lahn - A bread roll service can be ordered in the evening. At weekends the baker is on site from 8.00-10.00 am. A butcher comes on Fridays with a good selection of meat, sausages and salads. The sanitary building was clean. The toilet cubicles are VERY cramped. In the ladies area there are only 3 cubicles for the whole site. The water temperature in the showers is not adjustable. Electricity and water on site. There is a SUP rental. The Lahn is ideal for SUP'ing. The restaurant has a well-balanced menu and friendly staff.

"Beautifully situated campsite on the Lahn - The campsite is beautifully situated on the Lahn. The Lahntal cycle path is wonderful to cycle along. Koblenz and the Loreley can also be reached by bike. The campsite staff are nice and friendly, but can't answer questions about activities nearby, such as bike tours or train rides for parts of a bike tour. The campsite has already won two awards for the design and functionality of the sanitary facilities. We fully agree in terms of design, but not at all in terms of functionality. There are 3 toilets for women and 2 for men in the main sanitary building and another 3 for women and 2 for men in a container near the permanent campers. This is simply not enough for 100 pitches. The toilet cubicles are so small that you have to stand next to the toilet to close the door. The water temperature in the shower cannot be adjusted, the water temperature always fluctuates when showering. Nevertheless, the sanitary facilities were clean at all times. The campsite is used by groups, especially on long weekends, some of which are very noisy. We won't be going to this campsite again on long weekends.

"Beautiful lido - Beautifully situated on the very quiet Lahn. Ideal for SUP. Super restaurant with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are quite small and the shower temperature cannot be adjusted. They were far too hot for me.

"Vacation on the construction site :-( - Vacation on the construction site ! Sunday arrived quiet! Monday to Friday construction noise and when it was quiet the lawn was mowed, which was apparently not possible before our arrival. 20 cm high and full of goose droppings . Showers can not be temperature controlled, only hot showers! With the two (2 Wc for over 100 places) the door opens inwards, you have to thread yourself properly to close the door from the inside, beach club closed! Actually a nice place when it is dry (otherwise slippery and muddy) and nice staff. Never again

Since early June 2017, the completely redesigned campsite in Fachbach on the Lahn River, including its Beachclub, is open to guests.
