If you love the stress of looking for a campsite, and the people who reserve the lounge chairs with their towels. And the site has no water or sewer hookups. The staff at the gate were unfriendly.
Valalta Campground—ridiculous
If you love STRESS, this campground is just great—I won’t be coming back here. Reason: I drove 8 hours by car with the trailer. We got to the gate reception, where there were two women who apparently didn’t feel like working. There were no other people there. Still, they made us wait 15 minutes. Then... we had to show our passports. We asked if there was an open spot. “No,” they said, “you’ll have to find one yourselves”—which we already knew. And that’s when our “wonderful” vacation began: the hunt for a spot. We were incredibly lucky to snag a nice spot—number 171—after an hour of searching. [Without a mover to help maneuver] nothing works there. The entrance is VERY narrow for a trailer. It took 30 minutes to park. The site has no water hookup or sewer line. So, the campground is generally okay. Restroom facility #2 stinks terribly and reeks of shit every day. I was told it’s probably the flush toilet that’s causing the smell. The restrooms are only clean right after the service staff cleans them. After that, they’re disgusting. The restaurants. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious; the portions are also fine. The supermarket—I find the prices just as expensive as in Austria. There, I bought a laundry token for 10€ for one load of laundry. I think that’s way, way overpriced. What a rip-off. The beach is lined with lounge chairs and umbrellas. They’re free to use. Which is a problem because people just can’t help themselves—they reserve the lounge chairs with their towels. There’s actually a big sign there saying it’s forbidden and that it’s monitored. But in practice, that doesn’t happen anyway. Unfortunately, the sea is lifeless. Artificial. The beach there is man-made; apart from a few fish, there’s nothing to be seen in the water. Most of the spots are occupied by permanent campers. About 75% of the first three rows of the beach are occupied. And even if they aren’t, they’ll happily sublet their spots under the table. I’ve been to Schweinchenstrand twice, but it’s only for adults.

first time at this so to speak campground,it is rather a luxury family resort as big as a city with nothing natural.
arrived you have to look for a place if you can find it,I struggled 3 hours to find a sunny spot when with a management they could know the vacancies and 'point them out to the reception....
it's a nice place but too cemented and if you're in a tent you'll find yourself enclosed among the moneyed permanent residents with verandas without any kind of view,leaning on each other but with large pitches bordered by hedges.
good wifi for those who have needs',organization of high level as well as cleanliness order and controls,I did not see any kind of transgression,in my opinion too expensive,80 euros for a night in a tent are really too much,a supplement if you are single is really ridiculous,it should be the opposite.I will not return there.

What surprises many people is that it is not possible to reserve a pitch - yes, you read that right. And that's exactly what we love! You remain flexible and don't have to commit yourself months in advance. This is... a huge advantage, especially in bad weather: you can simply arrive later or leave earlier. And if you really like it (which is always the case with us), you can stay as long as you like.

However, if you really want to reserve a fixed pitch in advance, you'll have to switch to other campsites - but for us, this freedom is part of the special Valalta feeling.

We have always found a great pitch in both the low and high season - often just a few steps from the sea. And if it's busy at the moment, you can relax and wait in the Quick Stop area until something suitable becomes available. This has always worked for us without any problems.

The sanitary facilities are consistently clean and well-maintained - you can tell that a lot of value is placed on quality here. Culinary delights also leave nothing to be desired: The restaurants offer a wide selection and the supermarket is excellently stocked - really huge, you can get a wide range of food here.

The resort also has a lot to offer in terms of sport: Although the gym is rather small, it is well equipped with modern machines - there is always something for sporty people. And for those who prefer to be active in the fresh air: a complete circuit of the campsite is over 5 kilometers - ideal for jogging or a long walk.

Another plus point: the beautiful old town of Rovinj can be reached quickly and easily by bike. Cycling along the coast and then strolling through the narrow streets is a special experience every time.

One thing is certain for us: Valalta is pure relaxation, freedom and vacation feeling. We will be back!

For many years going south with my sailboat I stopped at this paradise. Safe mooring, beautiful water, clean facilities and great restaurants. This year I have been there by land. Always beautiful. Expensive to enter (30 euros), but you get paid back. By the beauty, services and serenity

Unsympathetic the habit of many guests to get up early in the morning to occupy the cribs. Being naturist camping it should be recommended opposed the habit of many to walk around dressed or in micro Costumes or perforated outfits. In saunas in Austria in such cases the monitors intervene immediately. If it is naturist you must ALWAYS be naked!

We left the place in a hurry today.
After what we experienced, the unfriendliness of the staff and the exorbitant prices became a minor matter.
Contrary to a report we read that they distance themselves from the swingers and s** scene, we had to experience some really disgusting things last night.
A... s** meeting took place on the neighboring pitch at 12 o'clock that night and we had to listen to it. First of all, you assume that the operator is not responsible for such behavior by visitors, but neither the security that night nor the managers this morning took us seriously. Apparently such behavior is tolerated/desired on the campsite.
Everyone can live as they wish, but the fact that other guests have to watch/listen to this is really the lowest level.
The permanent campers next door were amused by our complaints, so everything seems to be known. We only asked that the discussion about the behavior should not end in a brawl...because of the children. Who has deliberately brought their children to such a place for years to go on "vacation"?

Seat reservations are not possible. The staff have no overview at all of which seats are still free and we had the impression that they don't really care. Everything that arrives is let in, with the words, Sunday or Monday maybe something will be free, you have to look for it yourself. So then to the Quick Stop and look for a pitch at 30°. If you can't find one, you stay at the Quick Stop and wait and keep looking. The night for 2 people at the Quick Stop costs the same €66 as on a real pitch.

Valalta is quite ok, about German level,
cheaper than Austria, for example 1 beer in Valalta Eur 4,00,
in Bavaria 4.-4.5 Eur Ossiacher See in Austria Eur 5.9.
Little has changed compared to the last few years, described often enough.
And the staff is polite and friendly
friendly, even if they occasionally say otherwise.

One small thing is noticeable: Restaurant Ouvala
used to be something of a specialty restaurant, and therefore a little more expensive, but that has changed, also because the standard of the other two is now of a higher level.

a clean and well-kept place
We've been coming here for a few years now and it's the best place we've ever stayed in this region. Cleanliness is paramount and the facilities are well maintained. Friendly staff and a good range of things you can buy in the store. Of course, everything has its price, which is why the campsite is not... one of the cheapest. But when you consider how many people work there and take care of the campsite, we think that's okay.
All in all, it's our favorite place and as long as we can make the trip, we'll be back. If we find it difficult to drive, we would also come to Pula by plane and then rent a car from there

There is everything, the staff very friendly and helpful, Heated pool, a very, very well stocked supermarket, all the restaurants are very good. The WC showers are always clean. The sunbeds and umbrellas at the pool and beach cost nothing.

We are traveling a lot with the motorhome but the naturist place Valalta is and remains the most beautiful I can not understand that some places have 5 stars then Valalta should have at least 8 stars.
There is even a doctor on site who is also very good.

my favorite place
Valalta - Naturist Camp is a place for all age groups, both individual travelers and families. There is every form of accommodation (tent, caravan, camper, apartments, bungalows) The extensive grounds offer walking opportunities. There are a total of 5 restaurants and several snack stations. A supermarket... and several stores on site offer shopping facilities for all needs. A health center is also available and offers various treatments. There is a doctor on site, as well as a hairdresser.
The guests are pleasant and there is good camaraderie among all campers.
Particularly noteworthy is the cleanliness of the site and the fact that improvements or renovations are made every year.
The staff are accommodating and friendly.
We have now been to Valalta several times in early summer, usually for 6 weeks, and plan to do so again in the coming years.

What is also noticeable is the friendliness of the staff, especially at reception and in the entrance area. This leaves a lot to be desired. First we were reprimanded because we entered the seat number incorrectly on some piece of paper. Nobody told us what to do beforehand. Then we were reprimanded... again for not registering our small motorcycle. They were reluctant to let us back on the pitch, even though we had been using it for two days without any problems. All in all, we were left with a strange feeling. Friendly, customer-oriented behavior looks completely different!

We wanted to go mountain biking, there were routes, but not so many trails. But that's not the site's fault and it wasn't our first priority on this vacation.
Beautiful location and very good facilities
It was our first time on Valalta and also our first time on a naturist site. We were pleasantly surprised. The place is very well organized and offers everything. The beach area is divided into several bays and is very beautiful. We also found it positive that the obligatory towel reservation did not... take place here, or only to a limited extent. This practice annoys us at other locations. The staff were friendly and reserved. You can get to Rovinj quickly by bike, where you'll find a great old town. We can imagine visiting the place again!

- Professional & quick handling at reception on arrival and at check-out - We had booked an apartment, almost luxurious for a campsite, daily cleaning - own shaded parking space for cars, transportation of luggage to the apartment by electric car - Very friendly staff - Beautiful beach and wonderful bathing bays, some of which are sandy beaches or small pebbles, i.e. also suitable for small children. - Great large new playground -There are also plenty of shady spots, as there is a wide green strip with large trees. - There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols, even in high season. - beautiful "beach promenade" also for evening walks - The entire campsite is very clean, including the sanitary facilities, some of which are new. - The restaurants (especially Spaggio) offer very good quality, the prices are reasonable in my opinion. - Large pool area (but we were only on the beach)

- Waste separation is only available for campers, otherwise just normal garbage cans. - Relatively many disposable plastic dishes on the beach, there are good alternatives - Lots of cigarette butts on the sandy beach

Free pitches in the most beautiful locations are occupied by other campers and especially permanent campers with their cars or for other friends and acquaintances arriving. From 7 o'clock in the morning, the first sunbeds are occupied by pensioners. Around 11 a.m. someone appears, sometimes not until the afternoon. They probably used to do the same in Mallorca and now they behave the same way here. This year you also notice that there are probably a few guests here who are not naturists.
5* with flaws
Always nice, but there could be a bit more security to check that the rules are followed. Ladies in bikinis have no place on the beach in a naturist camp.

Great campsite in a class of its own
Very large complex, lots of space for walking, hiking and cycling (great views of the Limskifjord), very long beach promenade, large and well-maintained pool area, good selection of restaurants, varied beaches, steep pebble and sandy beaches, well-stocked market, unfortunately single travelers always have to pay an additional price for single use despite a nudist card (even if the place is not busy).
