This campsite is large and could have great potential. Unfortunately, the facilities are very outdated and are clearly past their useful life. You can’t even lock the doors on the restrooms and washrooms. Most of them are damaged. The RV sites are small and not maintained at all. There is dog poop everywhere.... The website states that a 20-meter cable is sufficient to connect to electricity. However, the distance is often greater, and the campsite staff repeatedly refuse to help you with this. They even promised us twice that they would help us but didn’t even bother to show up. When I approached them repeatedly, they asked what I wanted. The staff are very unprofessional, and it’s best not to rely on them at all. They won’t help you in any way. In the end, other foreigners staying at the campsite will be the ones to help you. The campsite restaurant has high prices, and the food quality is below average. We recommend going to the next village for food. The beach and the Tiki bar on the beach are good. The beach is not maintained at all. The staff doesn’t care about the trash or dog poop. There’s no reason to come back here. There’s nothing impressive about it, and there are plenty of such subpar campgrounds in Greece. It’s better to go somewhere else.

Kamp je u divnoj prirodi, šumi. Sve je lepo isparcelisano. Prelepo more.

U kamp se dugo vec ne ulaze. Uslužni objekti tipa kuhinja, taleti su zreli odavno za ozbiljno renoviranje. Favorizuje se domaći gosti, Grci.
Porodičan kamp
Veliki kamp, prosto jedno malo selo. U sezoni dostiže oko 3500 ljudi. Parcele su lepe planski napravljene, uglavnom u hladovini. Pristup struji i vodi nije baš ujednačeno na svim parcelama. Postoje i velike razlike u veličini parcela a cena je ista. Svi objekti u kampu su zreli za renoviranje. Ne ulaze... se godinama. Uprava kampa toliko štedi da često nema sapuna u toaletu a o drugim stvarima i da ne pričam. Prodavnica i restorani skroz korektni. Plaža i more su prelepi. Sve u svemu mnogo prostora za unapređenje al nažalost i takav spada u najbolje kampove na Sitoniji.

The sanitary facilities were supposedly renovated 10 years ago. However, they are not a bit 'outdated', but simply dirty and disgusting.
The same applies to the pool, beach bar and restaurant. The supermarket has a lot, but fresh bread somehow looks different to us.
The resort is overcrowded and the... habit of Bulgarian and Serbian tourists to occupy the beach with umbrellas and very large pavilions for days/weeks is reminiscent of 'towel loungers' on Mallorca...
We booked on the basis of the positive reviews - including the analog travel guide by Michael Müller - and were more than disappointed.
It's supposedly one of the best in Greece, but for us it's actually one of the worst and we've seen a lot of them.
The supposedly ecological concept (see homepage) is an absolute joke. You notice this not only when visiting the beach bar (endless plastic), but also when looking at the rented tents and caravans, all of which are equipped with air conditioning...
The staff are unconcerned and only partially friendly.
So don't be fooled and avoid this place!

The site was hopelessly overbooked with Bulgarians (families, young people, etc.) at the beginning of July; without a reservation, a long procedure to find a pitch because it is unclear at reception what is actually free; very rude site management; moldy showers ... we won't be back.

Actually nice - huge place if there wasn't.... We had reserved our spot in advance and also asked if we could have the spot before 4pm - it wouldn't be a problem if the spot was free. We arrived at 9am and were told that the space was not free before 1pm (although you have to vacate the space by 11am??).... At 1pm we were put off until 4pm. At 4 pm we finally got our pitch - exactly the one that was already free at 9 am!!! Campsite mainly frequented by Bulgarians, Romanians and Serbs. Pitch size was ok. Lots of trees - good for shade but sometimes very low to drive through. No water connection nearby (the permanent campers had fenced it in). Long cable needed to the nearest power box. WC and shower facilities partly in containers (all wet and unhygienic) partly also in wash houses. Cleaning lady was on site (but she was busy with her cell phone) but the cleanliness was limited. Everything in the toilet facilities was also smeared all over (including a swastika on the tiles), but nobody removed it in the 14 days. Of the 5 urinals, 3 were working and the shower water was sometimes hot and sometimes cold. On the fine pebble beach (which is actually beautiful), all the permanent campers have anchored their umbrellas and shade-providing tents (some approx. 5x5m), so you have to look for a place further back even if they are not present. Water very clean and warm - mostly with waves. Supermarket with a limited selection but open until midnight. The pool always had a bad smell at our time! (even our 12 year old didn't go there any more) there were sometimes pieces of glass in the pool area. Restaurants: Pizza not very good, self-service restaurant ok, restaurant ok - but there are much better ones in the village! We won't be back and won't recommend this place to anyone!

My review
Three families (six adults and six children, aged 6-16) went here with our own tents. We got the tent sites (pitches) next to each other.
The pitches are sufficiently spacious.
The sanitary facilities are clean.
The staff is nice and friendly.
The beach is sandy, the water does not deepen suddenly, but... it cannot be called shallow either.
The entire campsite, including the beach, is quiet and clean.
We will surely come back!

Friendly welcome, nice different pitches, pleasant and quiet (September) atmosphere. Restaurant good, unfortunately few options of other restaurants in the area. Sanitary facilities in order. Super beach unfortunately very many and big waves, but you can switch to the neighboring beach in Kalamitsi or to an exceptionally beautiful nudist beach. Definitely recommendable

----------- PLATZ ----------- International audience (approx. 2/3 Eastern Europeans) Also popular with many Greeks. You can communicate well in English. The peaceful coexistence and the proverbial willingness to help each other is fascinating, which puts many things in a positive light in terms of international... understanding. The pitches are large enough depending on the booking. Everyone has as much space as they need to set up. The site itself is tidy and is cleaned regularly. Anyone expecting a perfect 5* pitch will be disappointed. Everything is kept in good condition and repaired, but not to perfection as it is written in the book, but rather pragmatically and functionally. There are one or two dangers, especially when it comes to the electrical installation. For example, the operator provides campers with fridges in the outdoor area for a fee. ---------------------------- BEACH / SEA ---------------------------- The beach is very wide with fine gravel. Turquoise-colored warm water (Aug 26-28C) However, there can also be 0.5 - 2 m high waves for 3-4 days. This restricts swimming and water sports. On the other hand, it also offers a beautiful natural spectacle. Wave surfers then get a taste for it. We also recommend the neighboring beach to the north in the next village, which is also within walking distance. ------------------------------- SERVICE BUILDINGS ------------------------------ Sanitary buildings are tiled and are cleaned several times a day. It is always as clean as the last person to leave it. There were no blockages etc. Every now and then a slightly musty smell comes from a manhole cover. Many of the service buildings have about 4-6 gender-separated toilets and showers. There is also hot water during peak times, although the water pressure fluctuates and the temperature is not always easy to regulate. This is due to the taps, which only switch from water outlet to showers at a certain pressure. Old but functioning refrigerators are available to the general public in the sink area. The standard of hygiene corresponds to that of the users, who store or forget things there. Sinks are made of stainless steel and are well used and worn. The same applies to the laundry sinks. There are also top-loading washing machines with upright round drums, as is common in Anglo-American countries. Washes out the coarsest items for a quick wash. One €2 + two €1 coins. ----------------------------------------------------- RESTAURANTS / FOOD ----------------------------------------------------- Restaurant, pizzeria and self-service restaurants and a well-stocked beach bar are available. Restaurant prices are moderate, portions are usually generous. Quality is good. The local supermarket is well stocked and has the essentials. Fruit and vegetables can sometimes be on display for longer. Check! Bread is only available in white loaves, grain baguettes, toast and a few sweet baked goods. Croissants and other sweet pastries in the self-service restaurant. ------------------------------------------------- FITNESS / Sports facilities -------------------------------------------------- There is a lot of mechanical equipment in the fitness area, some of which is rusty. This cannot compete with modern studios. But there is free muscle training while swimming by the sea! There is also a tennis court and a beach volleyball court. Water sports equipment can also be hired for a fee. Pedal boats, kayaks, sailing surfboards and a small 1-2 man sailing boat. The equipment has often been in use for several years and shows signs of wear and tear. There is also a bike rental service with the latest generation of bikes. Fat bikes, for example. There are also Berg Kettcars and a roof bike for 4 people. There are 6 km/h electric quods for small children. However, the rental closes at the end of August. ----------------------------- CHILDREN'S OFFER ---------------------------- There is a small fenced-off playground with swings, climbing frame and seesaws. Cartoons are usually shown there in the evenings. Elsewhere you can hire go-karts, mini electric bikes or even a 4-seater bike. I can't say anything about the children's entertainment on offer. But it seems to be fun when you see the children.

We went to the camping in early July 2018, a big company with our own tents. We really enjoyed our stay there once more!!! Many activities like water sports, rental bikes, fitness programs and Latin dances, good prices at the super market, with a huge range of products, swimming pool and a lot of shadow at the places, which is necessary in Greece in summer, made us visiting the camping again and again!!!!

the site offers pitches of very different sizes, from sunny to shady! despite booking, we had a 40 m2 pitch for a 7 meter long caravan ... sanitary blocks in need of renovation! restaurant, self-service restaurant, pizzeria, ice cream parlor and beach bar provide plenty of variety when it comes to food!... small supermarket that has everything and is open until 23:59! pool is kept alive with lots of chemicals ... you can't see to the bottom of the pool ... no toilet paper at the wc and the used paper has to be thrown into an open bucket ... the rest times are unfortunately not controlled, therefore daily until 1 o'clock at night but rather loud, but usually very quiet until 9 o'clock!!!

Fetching turquoise waters~Unforgettable vacations!!
Amazing place, surrounded by nature, near a sandy beach (maybe the best of Chalkidiki) with fetching turquoise waters and with rocky tips ideal for snorkeling. There are all the amenities a camber can wish for, in a highly organized and equipped! Many alternative types of entertainment for kids but also... for adults. Very clean, adequate number of toilets. Staff very kind and helpful. Super market with reasonable prices, restaurant with nice food, wooden pizzeria, snack bar, beach bar, pool, water sports, canoe, sap, bicycles, climbing, jogging, diving... Unforgettable vacations.

Absolutely great campsite with direct access to a very beautiful sandy bay. The grounds are very well maintained and somewhat outdated in places. There is a nice, good restaurant, small market, beach bar, kiosk with all-day snacks and ice cream, pool. Courteous staff.

Excellent holiday!
Thalatta camping village is nice, well organised campsite with lot of facilities, such as beach volleyball, swimming pool, fastfood restaurant, etc. Beach is beautiful, and sea also. I think they should renovate some blocks of toilletes. Cleaness - high level. We spent nice holiday in this camp, and we will return again for sure.
