We feel incredibly at home there
We feel very at home here with you; we’ve already visited four times this year with our “fur kids.”
My only criticism is the behavior of some of the other campers.
Hanging trash on the closed recycling center gate in the evening is outrageous, and leaving dog poop lying around is simply disrespectful.... There are free poop bags available everywhere.
Dear fellow campers, just think for a moment if you’d like it if there were dog poop on your own campsite.

A quick stop—thoroughly impressed
There were five of us, and we were just passing through for one night, but we’re absolutely thrilled with this campground. The online check-in makes the registration process pleasantly straightforward, and the staff was very friendly throughout our stay.
We’d especially like to highlight the cleanliness:... we’ve never seen such well-maintained restroom facilities before—a huge shout-out to the cleaning staff! The rest of the campground, including the lakeshore, was also spotlessly clean.
Unfortunately, due to the short length of our stay, we weren’t able to take advantage of the wide range of activities for children and teens, but it looked very appealing.
If we ever do end up buying our own trailer, Strandcamping Waging is definitely at the top of our list for a longer vacation!

- Cleaning of the restrooms in the morning and evening during peak usage times, which leads to wait times - Little privacy at the lakefront sites, as guests on the sunbathing lawn are right in front of the campsites and also like to use the fence as a place to park their bikes and hang laundry - A large number of scooters, e-scooters, and cyclists who behave very recklessly

Waging am See, time and time again
I'd happily come back again and again—the campsite is very clean, quiet in the evenings, and right on the lake. I'd choose a spot near the washhouse; it's quite a long walk from the campsites by the lake to the washhouse.

- Beautiful, spacious campsite - The entire campground features a beautiful, large grove of trees - Of course, it has everything you'd expect from a ***** campground

- The "dog lawn" was not very inviting; there was a foul odor, and opportunities for dogs to swim were very limited - Limited Wi-Fi reception (no internet connection) - In our opinion, it was simply much too large
It has everything, but it's huge
We had a nice, spacious parking spot for our RV; what really fascinated me about the campground as a whole was the beautiful grove of large, shady trees.
Otherwise, we found the campground much too large; it was a long walk to the beach, and the best way to get to the grocery store is by bike.
By the way, it’s a lovely ride around both lakes by bike.

We were really shocked on a walk around the permanent campers in the "Nora" street to see how run down some of the pitches were! It was Halloween though :-)

Very well-kept, large campsite in a beautiful location! The sanitary building 2 is very nice, warm and very clean! We were able to take our time on departure! The "Strandwirt" restaurant was also great! We will definitely be back!

Very nice campsite with good facilities and lots of attractions for children and adults. Unfortunately, you could only lie with your dog on the dog meadow by the lake, where you couldn't stay long because of the smell.

Highly recommended
The site is located on a lake that is not used by motorboats, at least none have been seen. Good opportunities to go for a spin on a pedalo, SUP or surfboard.

The pitches are spacious and partly laid out with grass and medium gravel. Whether shade or blazing sun, everything is possible.

There is a... restaurant right next to the campsite, which is very hospitable and serves good food. There is also a beach store for bathing and swimming articles. A well-stocked EDEKA is right next door. Whether fresh bread rolls, meat, fruit, vegetables or frozen food, you'll find everything you need here. If you are still looking for something, you might find it at Fritz-Berger. Right next door.

There are also small lounges on the promenade where you can eat fish sandwiches, pizza and so on. You can end the day there with nice music and wine.

But the absolute highlight are the sanitary facilities (House 2). Modern, clean, large and plenty of them. I have never seen better sanitary conditions on a campsite. That alone is reason enough to go here!

The sanitary area is super clean and adequately equipped.

Top location directly on the lake with top sanitary facilities. Very friendly staff, you can choose whether you want a pitch in the shade or more in the sun. Many pitches have a surface of gravel and grass sloping on all sides so that we still had a dry awning floor even in heavy rain.

Many dogs and therefore the stand is also contaminated with their droppings

We had a very nice short vacation on a very nice campsite. The sanitary facilities are second to none and the pitches are large enough and have a gravel/grass surface that slopes slightly from the center to the outside, allowing the water to run off in heavy rain.
Unfortunately there were a lot of dogs... on the site, which didn't bother us, but the beach was polluted by their droppings. A solution should be found here with consideration for bathers (separate access elsewhere).
Otherwise it was a very nice stay and certainly not the last

Beautiful place by the lake
We were in the 'Dora' area on a comfort pitch. The location, equipment and condition of the facilities are very good. Everything is kept in excellent condition and the pitches are relatively large.
The sanitary facilities are spacious and the space provided in the showers and the door that prevents splashing... water in the changing area are particularly impressive.
As mentioned, the location directly on the lake is very nice. We arrived in the week before Easter. On arrival, the pitch in our area was only sparsely occupied, which we found very pleasant. On Good Friday it was suddenly very full and therefore quite restless. In the end, the size of the pitch made it too busy and restless for us, but that is a matter of taste in any case and does not lead to a lower rating.
One advantage of the size of the pitch: there is a proper EDEKA supermarket on the pitch as well as a Fritz Berger store with camping accessories.

Great campsite
We were thrilled. Our pitch was right next to the dog meadow so we had a view of the water, the child didn't have far to go to the playground and the dog didn't have far to go either. I thought the sanitary buildings were both good. The night's rest was respected, not necessarily the midday rest, but... I didn't think that was too bad. What bothered us was that you had to pay cash for almost everything in the bistro and also in the Edeka, we tend to pay by card and don't like to have a lot of cash in our pockets all the time. In any case, it is a beautifully maintained complex with lots of cleanliness. We will definitely be back.

We stood on the Merkelwiese. nice big pitch. The wash house is easily accessible by bike. It's a bit quieter here. That's not bad either. The sanitary facilities are clean. The children's showers are particularly well done.

A very nice cp. Second time there. Everything easily accessible. Sanitary facilities clean and tidy. would love to come again. We originally had another pitch (Friedrich 28) but we couldn't put up an awning there. It was a relatively small pitch for us. We then went to reception and were offered an alternative. We thought that was great. It is taken care of. It's very nice on the merkelwiese.

Short vacation
We always enjoy coming back to the campsite for a short vacation. There is something for everyone, mini golf, restaurant, beach. The sanitary area is constantly cleaned and is always in top condition. It is always noisy as the site is very large.

Bad labeling in the sanitary facilities, never found out right away or what is where, also saw several people wandering around except me. Unfortunately lots of duck droppings and feathers which is not acceptable on a 5 star site. A lot of traffic and unfortunately no attention is paid to quiet times. The children's lounge was stuffy and filled with very old paid slot machines. Beer garden not recommended Pizza too much sauce and like chewing gum lasagna without taste 2 pizza, lasagna, salad, 3 water 75 Euro.
Price performance not available.
Unfortunately not recommended as a 5 star campsite we were very disappointed. It would have been well advertised as a normal campsite. We paid a lot and arrived with great anticipation.

The range of restaurants, which is clearly over-advertised, is meagre. We prefer to eat out in the surrounding area. The new opening hours of the supermarket are strange. It must be clear that there is a lot of traffic on a square of this size. However, no attention is paid to maintaining an appropriate speed. If we were still traveling with children, I would be worried about their safety.

Spacious site with large plots
We were stranded here at the beginning of September and spontaneously got a place.
The staff were very friendly and we only had to pay for the nights we were there (despite a spontaneous 7-day booking which we had to cancel after 4 days).
The site is very spacious and the dog section is a huge advantage... for anyone with a water rat. We missed the opportunity to just sit down and have a coffee or a glass of wine in the evening because the few restaurants were already closed or were closed for other reasons.
